As I darted out of the room, I began thinking about how I was going to get out of here and live. God, I must be at least the size of a straightened-out staple but who knows. I came to my first challenge. Stairs (DUN DUN DUNNN). I started to worry because who knows if that giant ox was done doing who-knows-what.

"Well, I'm not going back there. Bombs away!" I yelled as I leaped down the first step. As I landed on my feet, my femurs began trembling. Were they on the verge of breaking? I had to test it, so I began jumping off the next step. My feet touched the carpet and I shut my eyes and clenched my teeth, waiting for the snap. It didn't come. I sighed. Thank whatever deity is up there. I repeated the jumping action down three more steps. Finally, I was at the bottom of the stairs. I almost laughed out loud at what seemed like immediate freedom for me but I heard and felt something. It was like two thunderstorms were talking to each other.
"Why hasn't Joe come out of his room yet? Is he hiding something?"

"Kevin, that's stupid. You know Joe can't hide anything from us."

"Yeah, but, Nick-"

"That's enough!"

And with those words, I knew.
Joe wasn't alone.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! Joe's not the only giant?! My breathing started to speed up, my heart rate too. There was no way I could escape now. I tried to listen if there was anything else that the others said. There was nothing. I saw that only one had left the room that they had been talking in. I started to back up slowly, but something stopped my movement. It was like I backed up into a wall. I began feeling that wall. It was leathery, plus I thought I could feel muscles and a faint heartbeat. It felt like...a...heel..?

"Huh? What's touching my foot? It tickles. I-What in the...?!"
Next thing I knew, my whole body was enveloped in a tough, fleshy thing. A hand maybe. I was being raised up at an incredible speed. This guy was obviously not very gentle. I was brought up to a colossal face. I could feel hot, moist breath against my whole body. This guy's facial features were very different from Joes, such as the large sideburns running down the sides of his head and the more natural curly hair. However, I could see the possible family resemblance. He then spoke in a loud voice,

"Whoa...Are you a person? Oh my god, this is so weird." I had to cover my ears because he was talking so loud, but they were pinned at my side due to his fist coiled around me. This is so weird? Try being in my position, jerkoff. He then spoke again, with no avail to lower to octave of his voice,

"My name is Kevin, what's your name?...Can you talk?...Hello?"
From the tone of the 'hello' he said, I could tell that he was getting impatient.

"HEY! SOMEONE'S TALKING TO YOU!!"
JESUS CHRIST!! He was so loud! I felt something trickle down the sides of my face. Blood. I fucking knew it! This jackass was so loud that he had possibly punctured my eardrums! I felt, to my horror, that the fist was tightening around me. This is it. I'm gonna die...

The ever-tightening fist was putting a strain on my body. My eyes almost shot out of their sockets and I screamed in pain. The fucker had tightened on my broken hand. OK, this bastard had gone too far...

"OY! YOU BASTARD! TRY PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM THIS!!" And with that, I opened my mouth as far as it could go and jabbed my teeth into the thick skin. Kevin, or whatever his name was, yelped in pain. That just encouraged me to bite harder. I did so. I finally broke through the skin and drew blood. Hmm. I thought. This guy has sweet blood. It tasted soooo good! But, Kevin over here had to ruin it for me by letting go of me instantly. I began falling toward the ground. Was THIS how I was going to die? Obviously not. I landed on Kevins outstretched hand. I looked up at him with a questioning look. He looked back at me with intense sadness in his eyes and he was sucking the blood out of his bite wound on the opposite hand. He carefully lowered me down onto the carpet. In a voice filled with regret, he said,

"I'm really sorry..." He then walked away, his footsteps still vibrating me. I almost felt sad for him. ALMOST. I thought suddenly for a minute...Wasn't there a third one? A shadow enveloping me answered that question.

I was yanked off the floor by the back of my shirt collar and was brought high up in the air. I was brought up to yet ANOTHER huge face. Jesus, how many times is this going to happen to me in one day?! This new guy was obviously younger than Joe or Kevin, but his eyes had something dark in them. His mouth twisted into a grin as he said,

"So...Were you what Joe was hiding?" I said nothing, praying that he would just leave me alone. He obviously had no intention of that, seeing as that his eyes narrowed and his grin disappeared. He said with a growl,

"You're not gonna tell me, hunh? Fine, I'll make you tell me..." The twisted teen elevated the hand he had me in and began, get this, throwing me up and down, catching me each time. The fucker began laughing like a kid at me. Now, just imagine what I'm going through here. At the velocity he was throwing me at, my stomach was going into my throat and when I was coming down, my brains were going into my feet. At about the third throw, I hit my breaking point.

"OK, OK!! I'LL TELL YOU! GOD, JUST PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN!!" I shrieked at the top of my lungs (which were now in my knees I'm guessing) He put on that childish, yet obviously demonic grin again.

"Good girl, I knew you'd see it my way." He purred. Good lord, if you could see him, you'd retch at the shit-eating grin he was wearing.

He then set me on the floor and knelt down so he could see me better. The moment my feet touched the ground, my stomach twisted and flipped. I couldn't hold it anymore. I puked my guts out. The titan laughed, causing the air around me to shake. OK, this is enough! Time for one of them to die, it had might as well been this asshole. I began giggling, which then escalated into maniacal laughter. Had I lost it? ...No, I lost my mind and soul years ago. I plastered on an insane smile, if you could call it that. While I had my back to him, I hissed crazily,

"Gyheehee... You bastard...Am I gonna die by your hand? Heh, no...YOU'RE GONNA DIE BY MINE!!!" With those final words, I whipped out my knife and swiftly turned around. I hurled the knife directly at his face. I never miss. It's gonna hit him in the eye. His head twitched, causing my knife to hit his cheek and got stuck there. He plucked it out with his thumb and pointer finger. I fell to my knees in disbelief.

"No..." He then reached for me. I curled up into a ball, preparing for my grisly death. But, he did something that I would never expect. He took his pointer finger and rubbed the top of my head. I couldn't understand what just happened. I looked up and he had a smile on his face. I smiled too. *FWACK* *CRUNCH* He struck me across the head, and I had slammed into a wall.

...I couldn't hear anything. I was pretty much stuck in the wall. The newest giant I had encountered had whacked me across my head and sent me flying into a wall. I looked up at him and, even though my eyes were stained in my own blood, I could see his mouth moving. However, due to my sudden loss of hearing, I was unable to figure out the words. Suddenly my hearing returned in a flash.

"-ou hear me?! You little shit!" He roared. His voice caused my head to pound and even more blood seeped out. I tried standing up but I couldn't. I stumbled around as if blind. My torturer laughed coldly.

"Hahaha! Look at you! You're so pathetic!" With those words, he kicked me, sending me flying into the wall again. *CRACK* I jolted my head up and yelled. At least three of my ribs were broken thanks to him. I was retching in pain, blood pouring from my mouth. He grabbed me and lifted me into the air and said crazily,

"This is what happens when people mess with me, Nick!" He then grabbed my arm and twisted it behind my back. It snapped almost automatically. DAMMIT! I mean, I've dislocated my arm a few times, but that hurt like hell! Nick then dropped me from that height. I plummeted into the ground. I could tell that most of my bones were broken because I couldn't feel anything but intense pain. I was starting to pass out, but this dick seemed to want to kill me automatically. He lifted his foot up over my life deprived body and said,

"Bye bye insect!"

My body started to feel abnormally hot and my brain gave my body one command...LIVE!! I was suddenly on my feet and glaring directly at him. But...I wasn't doing it...My body was acting on its own..? It was like I wasn't in control of my body anymore, like someone else was behind the wheel. I saw Nick freeze with one foot in the air. I also saw him start to sweat heavily. He stammered,

"Wha-What the hell are you?!" I felt a demonic grin spread across my face. Then I spoke in a voice that was not mine.

"Me? I'm the walking dead!" I felt my right eye become moistened by something that dripped down my cheek and into my mouth. My eye was...bleeding? Nick put his foot down and turned around. I passed out almost afterward, but not before I heard,

"ANNA! NICK, WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!!"

I was in a world of black. The floor was crimson red. I knelt down, put my hand in it, lifted some up and smelt it. Iron? Blood! The entire floor was covered in blood and up to my shins. Frantically, I look up at the...Sky? Whatever it was, it was a mirror. I saw a mirror image staring back at me. This place...It was so scary. Desperate for help, I screamed towards the darkness,

"Hello?! Is anybody there?! HELP ME?! WHERE AM I?!!"

"Why...this is your mind..." A whispery voice answered my plea almost automatically. I turned around and saw a person who had my head...Same face, same hair, but the eyes were lavender and the whites of her eyes were pitch black. However the most shocking bit about her was that she had two horns sticking out of her head. She opened her mouth and that whispery voice faded into existence again.

"...He's calling you..."


"........................................"

"AAAAANNNNAAAA!!!!"

I jolted awake, only to have a stream of blood come out of my abdomen. I fell back down again. My eyesight was faded and swimming, but I could see what looked like a face. Curly hair, large eyebrows, and concerned brown eyes came into my vision. In a weak voice, I said,

"Joe...?"

My vision corrected itself soon enough. Indeed, it was Joe. Was...Was he crying..? There were tears running down his cheeks and his eyes were red.

"Heh, why are you crying over me?...After I ditched you..." I whispered sadly. I wanted somebody to cry over my death, but this was a little premature, wouldn't ya think? Anyway, who was left after what happened five years ago..? The big lug sobbed,

"Thank God you're awake...I thought you were going to die because of me! I left you unsupervised...It's MY fault Nick found you!"

With the last words he said, he slammed his fist on the table I was on, making me shake and cringe at the vibrations. Joe took his fist off the table and continued crying. He couldn't seem to stop. *Sigh* Well, if there was a moment for it, it would be now. I slowly began sitting up, ignoring the blood and the pain. I got to my feet and stumbled towards his trembling body. He lifted his head and looked at me. While looking away, I moved my hand in the 'come here' motion. Joe moved his head towards me and I did something that I was not used to nor very good at. I hugged his tear-drenched face. Yeah, I'm not used to getting hugs or giving hugs, but this seemed like the time for one. It was so awkward, hugging a several story face. Even he seemed shocked. He then moved his hands and, I guess, hugged me back the best that he could.

Ok, that's enough hugging for now. I tried to pull away, but Joe kept a tight grip on me, keeping me close to him. I was starting to get uncomfortable, so I said,

"Ok...That's enough...I don't like being touched, I don't like being touched." He finally got the message and let go. Joe wiped away his tears and said, laughing,

"Hehe...That's like what Nick says...I always tackle-hug him and that's what he says..."

"Huh...So...Were those two your siblings?" I asked.
He nodded,

"You met Kevin too?" I nodded and explained what had happened between me and him. When I finished, Joe was laughing.

"Yeah, that's Kevin alright. Such a character." I chuckled lightly as well. After we finished laughing, he looked at his clock and I saw the time was 11:30 PM.

"It's time for bed Anna. I'll get something you could use as a blanket, okay?" Joe said kindly. I nodded. He went away to find something while I was left with my thoughts. I sighed, thinking that this might not be too bad.

"...You can't be serious..." That whispery voice again. I whipped my head around to see the mirror-image of me again. I jerked back in surprise.

"Wh...What are y...you doing here..?" I stuttered. Mirror-Me laughed.

"...Do you remember the last time you trusted someone..? ...What happened..?" She said coldly. The moment she said that, terrible memories flooded out. I screamed in terror and pain. While I was screaming, Mirror-Me said,

"...Don't trust anybody..." Before vanishing. Joe came back with several tissues. He was startled by my now finished screaming.

"Hey, are you ok? Do you hurt?" he questioned.

"NO!!" I yelled, "Back off!" I didn't mean to say it like that, but he seemed saddened by my outburst. He threw the tissues on my trembling body and said sadly,

"Here you go, don't PMS at me, Kay?" I felt so bad because of what I had said. I regret it so much.

The tissues, they do NOTHING! I was shivering violently while the tissues covered my body. It was fucking freezing! I couldn't see my breath, but DAMN! It was so cold, my teeth were chattering ferociously. A shadow covered me and I turned around. It was Joe towering over me...but that wasn't the odd part...HE WAS SHIRTLESS!! I felt my face heat up and turn bright red. I quickly turned back around. Why was he shirtless?! God, he was attractive enough already, but now?! Oh man!

"You cold?" He said. By the tone of his voice, he sounded like he was still asleep. His eyes were wide open though. I nodded quickly while I had my back to him. I was suddenly enveloped in a familiar environment. Flesh. I was in his hand. AGAIN. I felt myself being carried somewhere. It was a short distance, but I felt myself going horizontal. I was dropped onto a surface that was warm and leathery. I looked at my surroundings. When I figured out where I was, I almost had one of those comical nosebleeds you see in anime. I...was on his chest!! Oh my god! Joe was looking right at me and said,

"This better?"

"Ye-yes!" I said quietly. He was still looking at me, but I couldn't tell what was in his eyes. What was his intention? I felt him move his hand and cover me with it as if it were a blanket. However, something was eating me away inside.

"Joe, I'm so sorry about what I said when I snapped at you." I said hesitantly. Joe was smiling now.

"I forgive you Anna. It hurt me yes, but I could tell it hurt you too. I'm not stupid, you know." I felt myself warm up when he said that. He took his pointer finger and stroked my back up and down. I shuddered, it felt so good. An idea came into my mind. I was going to betray that mirror image.

"Joe, I want you to know about my past."

Hmm.... You have a pretty good writing style...I like that...But there's a few things in your story that are a little inconsistent...>,>...Don't take this the wrong way please ^^;;;

Umm...I recall reading about blood..lot and lots of blood ...I'm not squimish or anything but how is Anna not Dead? O.o?...It's becoming a little hard to suspend my belief >,>....

I would just cut down on the blood a little bit to make your writing more believable..or as believable as a GT story is going to get xDD;;;

Also, I'm sorry for not commenting sooner...I'm just NOT a Jonas Bros fan...at all >,>....Soo...that was a turn off for me...personally..But it's to each their own right? X3...

I'm going to be forthright...Celebrity stories bother me...I'm not going to disallow them...but stories about real people who are walking around out there in the real world freak me out a bit >_>;;;

Cut down the blood huh...That's gonna take some trying. Yes, to each their own right. To be honest, I'm not a die-hard fan of the Jo-Bros too, just I found them to be...test subjects I suppose.

"My past is very...How can I put this?...Dark." I began. I paused and looked at Joe to see if he was still interested. Due to him staring directly at me, yeah, obviously he was. So I continued.

"I was born to a happy family. I loved them, they loved me. Me, my mother, father, and older brother. That's all. We lived in a small house in a small town. We weren't well known, but some knew us. 10 years. That's how many years that happiness lasted." I paused once again. This next part was hard for me. Joe urged me,

"Go on. I'm listening."

I sighed and continued,

"I was coming home from grocery shopping...and...found the house-no-the inferno. I don't know what caused it but my house was aflame. My family must have been incinerated. I've never cried that hard in my life. The people who came to the scene brought me to the police and explained what happened. The police tried to find any relatives, however there were none. They had no choice but to place me in a foster home. Good idea, but the hell began there."

I continued steadily,

"The foster home they put me into was owned by a old couple and they seemed like nice people. The police left me there, wishing me well. I entered the house and saw pictures of small children. I asked if they had any other children, they said they did but they said they died early. They took me into a dark room and flicked on the lights. Torture tools lay everywhere. They shut the door behind me and tackled me to the floor. They then started to beat me."
I stopped myself to both catch my breath and to repress more memories that were floating to the surface. I commenced.

"The beatings continued for two years. I know that's not a long time, but it seemed like eternity. Near the end of the second year, I had become obsessed with knives and other sharp implements. Neighbourhood pets began disappearing. You can guess where they ended up.*Kekeke* One day it was time for my beatings and I hid a knife in my shirt. It was only the old man there that day. He picked me up by my throat and began the strangulation ritual. I whipped the knife out of my shirt and sunk it deep into his own throat. As the old bastard choked on his own blood, I ran out of the house like the devil was after me."
Joe was looking like he was being strangled himself. I asked if I should stop. He shook his head and said,

"You wanted to tell me, so I will listen."

"The knife was still with me, so I lived on the streets, robbing people who came by. The young father I killed, that was my breaking point. I looked at the blood stained on my hands and thought 'Yes...This is how the world works...Kill one person to live another day...This was what I was born to do!' That thought gave birth to my split personality, Alice Walsh. She looks like me but she has horns sticking out of her head, lavender eyes with pitch black whites. She drives me to kill. The killing spree lasted for three more years. I matured and learned new techniques. Finally, this geeky looking guy I was trying to kill injected me with some serum. Maybe that's what caused this. And here I am. Now you know."
Joe's jaw was down to the floor. He was crying. WHY IN THE HELL WAS HE CRYING?! ALL THAT STUFF HAPPENED TO ME! NOT HIM!

Tears were streaming down Joes face after I told him about me. Why was he crying? Why does he care about me? Those were the big questions in my mind.

"Why the hell are you crying?" I asked.

"You didn't deserve what happened to you..." He sobbed. He started to smoothly stroke my back and hair with his forefinger. He meant well, but I could see his real feelings: PITY! I knocked his hand away and screamed at him,

"What the fuck do you see when you see me?! Do you see some wounded animal?! What?! WHAT DO YOU SEE!!!? You can never feel my pain. You still have your brothers, A GOOD FUCKING LIFE!!" I stopped, my chest heaving up and down from lack of breath. Something dripped down my cheeks and onto my hand. I felt my face and felt liquid. Tears...Wait, what? I hadn't cried in five years, why now? Did Joe make me lower my guard? Make me softer? I collapsed, crying, on his chest. After a period of time, I looked up at him. Still crying, he was. Such a softie. He took his hand, picked me up, and brought me closer to his face.

"I'm sorry Anna. This is for you and you only." He whispered. He then did something that has never happened to me before. He leaned forward and planted a kiss (if you could call it that, seeing that it pretty much consumed most of it) head. I was stunned. Wha-wha-? After he was done, Joe applied pressure on a certain spot on my neck. I blacked out instantly.

Sunlight streamed through the curtains. Even though he had pressed my main pressure point, I had woken up before him. I stood up on Joes still sleeping body. I didn't want to wake him, so I climbed off of him. I had nothing better to do so I began doing what I did when I was bored: I sung.
"And so the profit boy falls into a deep sleep.
He burns inside and I breathe in the ashes.
You are one, we are two.
Your lovely face, it floats and it swells in front of me.
They pour onto the earth like a sea of tears.
All those dreams, thousands of dreams.
On this night as your silver eyes gaze upon me

"That was pretty." I jumped at the voice behind me. It was Joe...Obviously awake.

"Where did you learn that song?" He asked.

"I was walking past a church and heard a choir singing it." I answered.

"You want breakfast? I'll get it for you so you don't run into Nick" Joe suggested nicely. I shook my head, saying,

"No, I'll come with you." I felt like I was going to regret that decision, but oh well. Joe picked me up and cupped his hands. We left the room and came down the stairs. We entered the kitchen just to see that other one, what was his name? Kevin. He seemed to catch wind of us. He turned around and saw me in Joes hand and he just exploded.

"Oh my god, it's you! You're still alive?! You're so frickin' cute!" Kevin started to grab me, but Joe pulled me out of the way.

"Kevin. What the hell? Why did you react like that?" He questioned. Kevin looked down at his feet and shrugged. Joe sighed and looked at me,

"Well? You hungry?" I nodded vigorously. My nose had caught the scent of waffles and bacon. Apparently, mine wasn't the only one that picked up the scent.

"Morning Kev, Joe-Oh...She's still alive. Shame." Goddammit.
