Ault’s brow furrowed in a look of confusion…the drow kept tapping his chest…was he in pain? He mentioned Aradil…perhaps the drider’s venom was beginning to affect him more. He could see the tears streaming down the drow’s dirty face and the look of pained sadness in his eyes.
“I….I don’t understand, Elladan…” the giant gave him a confused look, shaking his head with a shrug of his broad shoulders. “Are you in pain? Hurt? What’s the matter?” He needed to know if he was to help him…and he wanted to…he really did…
Elladan shook his head no and looked at his hands blankly. Thinking fast, he made a heart shape. "Aradil!" he stated holding up the heart and pointing to himself. "Aradil good." He trusted his drider guardian. The happy expression faded back to sorrow. He remade the heart and looked up at Ault.
"Me good?" he asked not knowing what the word 'like' was.
Blinking at the drow’s motions, the giant tilted his head to the side, sending his dark gray hair falling over his shoulder…
”You want to know if I think you’re good?” His eyes brightened a bit, and he paused to think before slowly nodding.
“Yes. I do. You are good…yes.” He nodded a little harder, allowing a small smile to curl the corners of his mouth upwards. “Do you think I’m good?” He pointed to himself in question...
Hugging his thumb, the drow energetically nodded. Or as energetically as the venom in his veins would allow.
"Aultair is good! Good giant!" he cried. "Elladan good drow! But people hate Elladan!" He squeezed the digit as hard as his numb arms would allow him to.
Ault's eyebrows shot upwards in surprise when the drow threw his arms around his thumb and hugged it close.
He chuckled softly and smiled, gently patting the elf's head with a fingertip, "Yes, Elladan...you are good." He lifted the drow closer to his face, "Maybe people would like you more if you didn't kill. No killing people." He shook his head with a grave expression on his face, "Only kill beasts and animals for food. Or kill to protect."
"Protect?" the drow repeated liking the sound of the wordbut not really knowing its meaning. "Aultair protect?" he asked tilting his head to one side.
"Aultair no kill. Protect....Elladan protect..." He sighed and stared up at the giant with a pout.
Ault frowned at the drow's expression. "Now what's that look for, little drow? Did I do something wrong?" He sighed. It was hard to understand the dark elf's gestures and accented words. “You want me to protect?” He guessed, “Aultair protect Elladan?”
Elladan sighed. It was so hard speaking. "What is protect?" he asked raising his arms as if he were shrugging his shoulders. He looked at Ault with his yellow eyes in hope the giant would understand his confusion. Surface common was so simple, and yet so complex to the flustered little drow.
"Oh...you don't understand, do you?" Ault chuckled, "Sorry, little drow..." He rubbed his jaw with his free hand, trying to figure out how best to exlpain protect..."Er...Aradil protect Elladan. Aradil guard Elladan."
Guard was the same in both tongues. "Guard!" the drow cried whipping out his daggers. They glimmered silver in the firelight. Suddenly, the drow's ebony skin blanched white. He dropped his daggers, both plummeting down from the giant's hand. One embedded itself in the ground and the other in the giant's boot. With a sharp painfilled cry, Elladan doubled over. The posion was dissolving in his system.
Soon he would be able to move fully and freely. He snapped backwards and fell onto his back, white foam drooling from his pale lips. He screamed again and again. Convulsing, his eyes rolled backwards and he clutched any part of the giant he could. He was in a huge amount of pain, like his insides were melting into a molten goo. His body went from freezing to burning up. He roared once in pain before going compleatly, disturbingly silent.

((o.o Ouchie, sounds like a bad trip. Seizure. Whatever. (I'm still reading, dearie!) I like how this story is coming together. It looks like the plot is a bit more complex than it would have you think. ))

((Sorry for not updating. I have no earthly idea where Liv went and I don't want to continue a story that may die without knowing its future. Liv, if you see this, want me to post what else we have and continue here? Or is it dead?))

((Hey, my freaky dahlings! Fang is back! >;j Miss me much? ))
"Elladan!" Ault stared on as the young drow doubled over in his palm, falling limp before he beagan to convulse violently, forcing the giant to cup his hands together in a sort of bowl to keep the elf from rolling over the sides "Dammit, Elladan!" He lifted his hands closer to his face, his stormy eyes shifting to a piercing silvery shade while he frantically looked over the elf, watching on in frustrated helplessness while the venom coursed through Elladan's body, tearing the elf apart inside; or so it seemed. As soon as it'd begun, it was over......and the young drow fell limp in the giant's huge hand. "E-Elladan? C'mon little drow........." He curled a finger, gently nudging the dark form and biting back a curse at the stiffness of the rapidly cooling body. He feared the drow was dead..."Dammit, drow...you can't just die on me! C'mon little fella..." he growled and pressed a fingertip to Elladan's chest, gently rubbing in an attempt to get his heart going once more despite the fact that he knew the venom was probably too far into his system for his attempt to revive the elf to be of any good. But he continued anyway..........all he knew was that he was going to crush that godsdamned drider with his bare hands the next time they met.

Elladan blacked out, his eyes still open and slightly glazed over. A pale yellowed foam dribbled from his open mouth. Elladan's body was frozen, but his mind was awake and aware.
"What is going on! It hurts! It hurts!" he wanted to scream. Suddenly, Ault was pushing him. The strong force behind the impossibly large digit threatened to break bones. Elladan wanted to shove his friend away, but couldn't move. Mute and stiff, the drow was helpless as Aradil's test ended. A weight hit Elladan's stomach as Aultair tried to revive the drow that had not died causing Elladan to vomit. The remainder of the drider's venom was expelled.
"Aultair..." Elladan moaned in pain curling into a ball. The gash on his shin was not looking good to Elladan. Vomiting again, Elladan began to cry. His insides, though freed, were still throbbing with their own painful beats.
"Ault...Elladan...water..." the weak drow managed to cough. His body heat slowly returned and so did his range of movement. His ebony body shuddered with weakness. He looked up at Ault with apologetic, pleading yellow eyes.
As Elladan was waking from the venom, Aradil rushed through the forest trantula style. Keeping his furred spider body close to the ground as he moved, Aradil muttered a prayer. He hoped the giant did not harm his master in any way nor abandoned the helpless drow. If Elladan was left on his back, he could not vomit the poison out of his system. The venom would sink back in and affect his nerves and his breathing. He could die.
"It was unwise to leave him," the drider hissed almost tripping over a large branch. He pushed his way to a good sized stream not too far away from the camp. Aradil, though he was a mighty drider, hated water. With a curse, he drove his pink-toed spider limbs into the ground to halt his trek. Where he had crossed lay far to the left of his currant position and he had no time to backtrack. Climbing a tall oak, he saw Ault with Elladan still in his hand. The drider's breath caught as he pushed back his long pink-laced white hair from his blazing magenta eyes. The giant was making a move.
