((I start! Ronnie said I could! XP This is Ira Smith's post, it takes place in a Puritan Village, this doesn't mean all humans have to be for a Puritan village, this is just where Ira was born)) I heard the birds, the sun light was seeping through my window, it was time for training. I got out of my comfy bed, said my prayers and got ready for the day. "Thank you for breakfast Mother!" I called as I grabbed my staff -I was not allowed to hold a sword yet...- "Do your best Ira dear!" She called "Be safe!" I smiled and ran out the door, the village was slowly becoming active, I caught sight of some of my fellow trainees behind me. We had to start our day with this run, a warm up for the all day training we had to go through.
We all came to the dirt circle that we have made while doing our dances that would hopeful inflict death to the enemy. Such a crisp morning, the mocking birds were singing so much today, breakfast was yummy, oh and there's my father! I gasped and was forced to do a double take, my father, if that is what you could call that monster. He stood by our instructor, I stared at him in horror. "Why are you here!?" I cried at him "Why is HE here!?" This time to our instructor. "Bite your tongue heathen!" he barked, "How dare you speak to -not only an adult but- your father like that!" I glared at the man that beat my mother "That dog is no father of mine!" I cried, my Puritan village gasped. "Ira Smith you will apologize, fast and pray for forgiveness, go home." Our trainer whispered harshly.
"I will not! I have done nothing wrong! Why is he here!?!"
"Ira, your father knows combat-"
"False!" I shrieked "He only knows how to get drunk and beat his wife!"
"Apologize Ira," He said, my father stared at me solemnly and sighed
"I will not," I hissed
"Then leave..."
I gasped, "w-what?"
"We can not have a sinner like you corrupting the other children! You will be distracting, and if you will not train under your father, you will only become another mouth to feed. You'll get people killed! We can not afford any more burdens, Ira Smith, and that is what you've become!" His words were so sharp "You are banished for your sins!" I could only clutch my staff to my chest, banished? "But Rev. Brown!" One of my fellow villagers shouted "We are training for a war! There are enemies every where! You know Ira won't make it!!" Boy was she right, my luck was horrible, never had I seen a day with a new bruise or cut, never had I gone though a day with out tripping over something. Even my appearance was getting affected with my unfortunate luck, my hair was stained white from the pain I went through when I was struck by lightening, dark circles were making there way around my eyes. I was a goner... "Ira," My fathers voice spoke "You heard the Rev. Go pack some food and I will give you a sword." I stared at him, still in shock. "Let me give you a kiss good bye." And with that I ran, away from everyone, and out of the village bringing only the clothes on my back and the staff in my hand, I ran. I ran to lake and sat down on a rock to look at my reflection, I was alone, if I was lucky I would trip and fall in and drown before an enemy found me. "Good bye Mama," I mumble and then I cried. ____ images of Ira a Sice are on the sign up sheet

((weeeeeeell...Ronnie asked me to start something...so, I guess I shall....X3))
Ember crouched low in the undergrowth, yellow eyes tracing the carriage's path as it rumbled along the forest path in front of her. She pondered its contents…plenty of jewels and gold for sure…not to mention four of the royal elven family members…one of the most powerful families in the entire country. The fire elemental sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose with a finger. She hated assassination assignments; especially when it involved high ranking families. But alas, it was her job and the task must be completed if they were to receive payment from the giants who had hired them. She quietly sprang to her feet and ran a few paces further along the path to follow the carriage, silently counting the guards as she did so…one driver, four crossbowmen on the carriage, no doubt there was at least one inside with the royal family…and eight mounted escorts, seemingly armed only with swords. She slowed as the path reached a tight bend where the trees grew thicker…this would be perfect. She quickly looked across the path…her companion was nowhere in sight…but she knew he was there, hiding, and she knew that he would move the moment she did… As the carriage reached the bend she sprang from the trees, still silent as she released her fire, solidifying the flames into several small dagger like shards which she sent flying into the backs of the three closest horsemen…

((Here' s the first of my three posts @_@..This is the only one I'm posting now though...))
Hectar's breath was ragged and his heart was racing. Dammit he cursed inwardly to himself as kept running and running...and running. Following close behind him wast the sounds of multiple pairs of wings beating amidst ferocious roars. I should have never taken the bet..I should have never-. He wasn't able to finish the thought as he came careening to a stop. He was now staring horrified over a cliff's edge. F***! He looked over to the other side of the gorge as his brows furrowed in thought. I can easily make that jump at even just my large size...but even if I did get across...Where would I go...all that's over there is desert plain...I'd be caught in no time flat... His thoughts were shattered as the wing beats grew louder and the roars increased in volume. He shuddered before he did the unthinkable....He jumped...down and down...into the river far far below.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~Days Later~~ A young wind elemental and nurse-in-training was approaching the riverbank. She sent by the lead nurse of her village to retrieve water for the many wounded that resided there. You see...She came from a village unlike any other...a rare neutral village that became a sort of save haven for those wanting to get away from the war..well...it was a safe haven if you could find it that is....
As she approached the river bank she saw an odd lump halfway submerged in the water. Curiously, she walked up to it only for her eyes to widen in horror..It was no regular lump of river debris..It was a MAN! So she did what any other young woman would do in her situation. She screamed.

[um...I don't know if I can start...But I'm going to do it any way!!!!!]
5 years ago --------------- Rathgar slowly make his way home. It was such a beautiful night and he wanted to savor the moment. He began to daydream on what would happen when he came home. His dear, sweet little sister would be waiting at the gate of their home, pawing at fireflies and waiting for him...and dinner. His wonderful mother would be urging his sister in so she wouldn't wander. But his father...wouldn't... shouldn't be there. That spirit was a menace to all. He was not welcome any where.
Rathgar was snapped out of his furious thoughts by the smell of blood...and it came from the direction of his home! Running on all fours, Rathgar bounded home praying to the gods that everyone was alright...The gods were not in his favor. Rathgar entered his blood-covered home. He looked at the scratches and dents in the walls and floor; A glorious battle had been fought here and Rathgar fear that he was on the losing team. He searched the house, looking for his sister Ventus and his mother. But, when he found them...what ever dastardly deed the intruded had wanted was done. Rathgar stared at his mother's corpse...holding his crying, screeching sister in a death grip. At first glance, It looked as if the brown feline spirit was rocking her white kit to sleep, but the blood and scars told other wise. Rathgar sank to his knees and wailed in agony and anger. Then he went to his sister and mother's corpse. He extracted his long claws and chopped his mother's arms of, causing his sister to wail louder than a banshee. " THAT'S ENOUGH, VENTUS!!!! WE HAVE TO BE STRONG! NO MORE CRYING, EVER AGAIN!" Ventus's wails turned to soft whimpers. "Now, tell me...who did this to our beloved mother?" Only one word exited Ventus's lips before she entered her state-of-shock,"Father."
Rathgar's anger burned it his chest. How...how dare he enter his home and slaughter his mother!?!? HOW DARE HE?!?! Rathgar gathered his sister, who was for some reason laughing, and exited his home...They were getting revenge... Today!!!
Rathgar and Ventus made their way to their father's residents. Seven days...continuously walking...with no food. both were fatigued and dehydrated, but rage and the thought off they father's blood on their lips fuel there actions. "Can you smell him, Brother Dear? That murderous snake!" asked Ventus. She had been pushed past insanity long ago. "Yes,Sister Dear. So his blood shall be on our claws!" he replied. Their father's home was poorly guarded...no traps, no guards...no anything. As they entered his room, they silt the throats of his harem of six and awaken him. "Ah...if it isn't my worthless children! I heard that your wench of a mother is dead...Have you come to beg for me to adopt you two?" Ventus smiled and swiftly stabbed him in his left leg. "Actually...We came here to kill you." And with that, they proceeded to rip him to shreds in their beast form. ------------------------
Today -----------------
Rathgar licked the remains of his meal. He looked at the half-eaten cooked ox that he worked on so hard to prepare...Where was Ventus? She should have been here by now.
Ventus rolled around in a flower field. It had been so long since she just sat around and enjoyed the sights. She sighed; Ventus missed her mother...She missed her care-free life. It was all her father's fault...that withering piece of s***!

I was angry and iritated. My food supplies were about to be finished and I still havent had any plan how to get any new one. I knew about human's village up north, I had even been there (pretending to be human) but I was too afraid of human armies garrisons that have been set nearby. Besides ever since I had been exiled from giants society I was feeling more and more lonely and like I had no place to go... "Giants - they treat me like a trash, I cant even beg in their villages anymore, dragons - would kill me faster than I could explain myself, people, dwarves, elves... I killed some of them in my previous attacks, they were trying to kill me too. No way.. I am all alone"
I was walking nearby a small lake thinking, keeping my normal size. Two weeks ago I attacked little humans village. I killed many people, far to many, but somebody brought humans army, I had to flee with bare hands. "They could be still after me but otoh it was far away from here. Maybe they gave up..." First time I was feeling sorry for somebody else than me. "I shouldnt have done that..." Suddenly I hit the branch "ouch...". Not futher than 50m from where I was standing, there was a girl sitting on a stone looking at her reflection in lake. I knelt down to hide and have a look at her... "she is beautiful...eh, but she is human...probably from that village up north, maybe i can barter her for food£¿" I stood up and start walking towards her. "Hey! Hi! What are you doing here? are you on your own?" I was smiling and waving to her...

((Here's Kaze's part...I'm going to wait a little bit before I post Hugo's...))
Kaze's brows were furrowed in concentration as he quickly moved from tree to tree in elven forest...And quite stealthily for someone of his stature [even in at his "human-size" he was a whopping 6'7"]. Reaching his destination, a bush right in front of the clear path, he crouched low ready to attack.
He, much like Ember, was not very fond of assassinations...And he usually turned them down almost instantaneously. However, this time was an exception. The people who hired them were, well,..part of his family...they were distant relatives, but still family all the same . [Also, the pay was very good...but let's not go there just yet...]
The moment he heard the leaves and crunch as if something were leaping out of the trees nearby, he knew it was time. By the time he too leaped out three of horsemen were all ready dead. It was only a matter of time before all hell broke loose...and Kaze smirked knowing he'd only make it worse with his next manuever. Before the remaining horsemen even had time to withdraw their swords, Kaze shot up to his height of 39.5 feet. This caused the startle horses to whinny and buck back and forth...throwing the remaining men off their mounts.
"'Hello boys," he said with a wicked grin.

-(This starts right where Ronnie's post for Hectar stops....)-
Sighing, Helena stuffed her hands into the large front pockets of her overtunic and continued to trudge on. Carefully making her way over the forest floor, she easily avoided the scattered remains of branches and leaves without a second thought.
“Nothing better to do”…that’s what I said to the lead nurse. That I had nothing better to do than go and retrieve one scatterbrained and more than likely lost nurse-in-training. She grimaced at the next thought. Unh, I hope to the Moon that she’s just lost and not meeting someone for a private roll on the river bank.
Another frustrated sigh escaped her lips. With the shipments delayed due to problems with the cargo, all of the Guards had almost a month left before they had to head out. Normally the beginning of summer marked the start of a major trading season and almost every merchant caravan would empty out of Fleur-de-Vie to carry the expensive bolts of cloth made there to various cities across the map. But with the discovery of pests eating away at the cargo in one of the storehouses, every square-inch of the cloth had to be checked and replacements made for the ruined bolts. Consequently, every company of contracted Guards were currently sitting on their hands till their caravan was ready to head out. So in truth Helena really had nothing to do but follow the wandering tracks left by a wind-elemental that hadn’t checked back in on time.
Helena stopped walking and scowled at the tracks. At least the girl is easy to find. Looking around at her surroundings she noted that she was finally nearing the river. Though tempted to use the way everyone else used and walk directly to the river, Helena had to follow the tracks exactly incase there had been sign of a struggle. And of course there were none, so far only one set of tracks to the river and none heading back. Hopefully she just fell asleep or something. After a second of considering the thought she smiled and reconsidered. Though bandits could make this week interesting. Just as long as the girl isn’t hurt, she amended sheepishly.
Considering her good timing, Helena decided to take a moment and fix her boot. She had been trying to ignore a highly annoying catch where the pants had bunched up near the ankle. Instinctively shifting her feet into a fighter’s stance, Helena focused her element into a dark box high enough for her to use as a stool. Continuing to focus the swirling mass, she even formed a smaller one to brace her foot against. Helena sighed in anticipation while sitting down and started tugging on her boot. Shadow made a surprisingly sturdy element.
Just as the tall right boot was about to finally give into the tugging, a shrill scream shattered the silence and stopped Helena mid-tug. Yah, that defiantly came from the river. And that was more than likely the nurse I’m looking for. Sighing in frustration, Helena considered her boot. At least they caught me with only my boot down and not my pants.

The smell of blood drew Ventus from her daydream. She slowly rose from the grass and slowly moved toward the scent. There was a giant and a fire elemental slaughtering a group of horsemen. She cackled as her bloodlust grew more and more, but she knew better that to interrupt an assassination. She simply watched...pinning for the chance to rip off the head of one the horsemen.
Ventus was amazed at the fire elemental's tactics; she mentally took notes as to how she killed them. One mistake, she noted, was that none of them savored the death of the ones that they killed. This puzzled Ventus, "Strange." She mutter to herself.

((Hugo's a spy for the elves...I've decided U_U...But only to a certain sect of elves that don't ally themselves with humans and dwarfs...Hugo has a prejudice against dwarfs and humans....along with giants of course...and fire elementals [and other stuff]..Unless any of them are sexy looking females [[or basically anything with boobs]]....except giants..he hates all giants..even sexy female ones LOL))
Hugo was on the run. He was on a scouting mission for his troop and had idiotically gotten himself lost...Maybe I shouldn't have listened to that elven vixen he thought to himself miserably...though she was a hella hott He paused and sniffed the air. He growled. There were humans around...and a LOT of them at that. He knew there were a few human villages up north near the elven territories, but never so much that a whole armada would be around. Something was amidst.
However, He decided to ignore his spy instincts and head in the opposite direction of the human armada..Only to come across a large lake...it had a rather peaceful feeling to it if did say so himself. He took another whiff of the air and blanched. He smelled the smell he hated the worst- GIANT... He let out a snarl and looked over see a girl looking over at the water...but she was simply a human. She was kinda cute though...and looked only slightly younger than himself...That's when he noticed she was precariously posed at the edge of rock looking over the river. Oh God! She's not going to jump is she!?
"Hey you! Girl! What are you doing!?" he cried out as he approached her..only to be interrupted by another voice....
"Hey! Hi! ...ect...etc..etc.."
Hugo's eyes narrowed as the scent came over him again...So the giant decided to reveal himself, eh? Well..I'm not going to let him hurt that poor girl! He thought angrily to himself with a fanged frown as he quickened his pace.

Ember wasted no time in preparing a second set of shards as she ran past the remaining horsemen and after the fleeing carriage, trusting Kaze to deal with the mounted guards…
Several crossbow bolts screamed past her, sending her skittering frantically to keep on the move as she hurled her daggers of fire at the two men in the rear of the carriage. A ghost of a grin spread across her face as the first man fell, followed shortly by the second. That was the thing about crossbows. You fire once then have to reload…and reloading a crossbow takes a hell of lot longer than it does for an elemental to create a shard of flame.
Seeing that the other two are gone, the driver panics and snaps the reigns, urging the horses faster….too fast for Ember to keep up with.
Digging her heels into the dirt path, she hurls a large orb of flame at the retreating carriage before shouting back to her towering comrade…”Kaze! Trade you!” She jerked her head at the mounted guards, “I’ll take them…you stop the carriage!”

"Hey you! Girl! What are you doing!?" I nearly jumped out of my skin at a paniced voice "WHAT!?" I cried "Hey! Hi! What are you doing here? Are y-" I turned to another voice way to quickly... I slipped on the moss coated rock that I was perched on. As quickly as I was in I was out "AHHH! THAT'S COLD, THAT'S COLD, THAT'S REALLY COLD!!!" My clothes weighed me down but I was able to crawl back on the rock and grab my staff "What do you want!?" I yelled at both the man and the boy "All I have is the clothes on my back and this staff! And if you try to even take those, so help me God- you don't even know what I'm thinking!!" ... I didn't even know what I was thinking! I had nothing! What would they want!? They wouldn't want to rape me, I'm not even pretty! ... I think... When was the last time I looked in a mirror any way?
It was then that I noticed the man coming toward me was glaring at the boy, who was also coming toward me. That mommy thing in my head clicked. The boy was taller then me, but a child is a child and I would offer my body as food if he was starving, even if he may be a little mugger. Who deserves to die when he hasn't hardly lived? I walked infront of him and faced the man "Sorry I yelled, you guys startled me, may I help you with anything?"

Sobia peeked out from behind the leaves and scanned the area before ducking down and quietly sneaking out of her hiding spot. The sheath for the sword on her back was beginning to dig into her skin from 2 hours of watching. The long light brown cloak brushed the ground as she made her way back.
She was a spy, but she rarely spied on her own people. Matters who she's spying on. If it paid good money, then she would. That's the only reason she became a spy, for money. Not that she was greedy, it was to survive. She didn't have a permit home, she moved around a lot. She had a horse, and she used the money she made for food.
This was her last job of the day, she was tired and was gonna head back to the elf village.

"I-I'm sorry?," was about all he could get out before yet again the girl spoke up.
"I'm sorry...etc..etc..etc.." she said whilst stepping in front of the boy while face him [as in Hugo..not the boy] which made Hugo groan on the inside. Of course the chick would side with the "innocent" young boy....She obviously couldn't see how pure evil he was. He would amend that...that's for sure!

Ira blinked, and looked over her shoulder to the boy for a split second then back at the man, "Sir, your red eyes tell me that you are not what you seem either..." Suddenly Ira's nose caught a familar scent, melted copper, the same scent that she smelled every time she injured herself, she looked down and saw no blood. The scent was stale, like someone tried to wipe it away but only spread in around. She looked at the boy again then the man, 'Which one?' She thought 'Which one smells like they had been submerged in blood?' The smell was powerful, they both were close, were both murderers? Ira gripped her staff, had she just put herself between death and death? Were either of them even human!? Ira went though the possiblities, what creatures that she knew of took a human form? 'Giants, dragons, shape shifters... That's all I can think of... Bad giants and dragons EAT people... shape shifters are just.... theives or spies.' For the second time that day Ira thought 'I'm a goner...' Who's the one turly in danger? She could only wait for the boy to react.

Dysis was running as fast as she could through the thick brush. She had been running for sevral days and she was exhausted. Her legs were sore and she was weak from lack of food. There was a good reason for why she was running for so long. Dysis was trying to stay away from a certain someone. Someone who struck fear into her hear everytime she heard her name.
And for good reason.
The person was a twisted individual, who would enjoy torturing their prey till they begged for death. They was cruel and sadistic, everything Dysis wasn't. They were looking for her. Hunting her down like a cat stalks a mouse. Because of this, Dysis was paranoid and afraid of almost everything. She couldn't rest for a few moments without freaking out at every little thing.
Dysis fell face first into the dirt, tired and exhausted. She couldn't run anymore. She was so sleep deprived and hungry that she just couldn't move anymore. Luckily for her she had fallen near the side of a dirt road. "Perhaps someone would see me...." she thought to herself.

'No more blood,' Sice thought to himself 'I'm going to find that neutral place and stay there... or crawl in a hole and die...' He wanted out, he was tired of it. The sounds of fist on flesh, bones cracking and the feel of hot blood was far from aplealing now. Blood made him feel sick now, corpses made him uncomfortable seeing someone in the process of dying just scared the $hit out of him now... Ever sence he was seven he knew how to kill, his skin should be dyed red from all the blood he's spilt, he had a reputation 'Sice the slicer' they would call him. He didn't care, he killed all there was to kill and it only took one accident for him to realize how wrong his life was. 'No more blood.' He contiued down the road trying to look at everything to get his mind off of his blood drown past. 'Road, tree, tree, tree grass, flowers, oh a cow... More trees, dead girl-' "HOLY $HIT!" He jumped at the sudden change in the sights he was taking in. He took a deep breath, swallowed the lump in his troat and surged past her. Sice froze at the sound of wheezing, he turned to the girl sharply 'She's still alive?' He stood over her to a moment the crouched down 'Made I should take my smaller form so I don't scare her... Nah, I'll be a good wake up call...' "Hey," Sice whispered "Can you hear me?" He took his canteen and and poured some water in his palm then let it slowly drip on the back of the girls head. "Come on kiddo," He mummbled.

However, Kaze was fast and agile for someone his stature and size and it merely took a few minutes to cover the miles that the carriage had already covered.
But when Kaze reached and surpassed the carriage and was about to cut it off he noticed something peculiar.... It was another giant! What a another giant doing in elven territory...We barely come in this part of world...Unless, he's on a job as well.... His eyes widened when he noticed the giant was crouching over something...something that looked like a corpse. However, before Kaze could say something...freaked out horses [with the carriage and all] collided into his legs causing him to collapse onto the carriage.
CRUNCH!
....So much for mystique ....

I just revealed myself when some elvish idiot run out from the bushes. "sheeesh, it was supposed to be easy, now I have to deal with that guy! How does he knew who I was, had he seen me before? Should I enlarge now? I need that girl, village is well-guarded, having a hostage to barter would be much better than risking an open fight - I dont think I would win , there are just too many of them".
"Miss...Please come with me....That boy isn't what he seems...."
I was trying to stay calm and not burst with anger "stupid, stupid elf... I hate their race, they should die, all of them". Girl was dividing me from elvish intruder and I noticed that she was kinda pretty and even a little bit funny - all wet and trying to be brave. If she wasnt human maybe we could get along.
I decided to show off a little bit of my acting skills, all good beggars must have them - if you're not convincing, you're not getting anything. I cried out to her with the face expression of unjustly beatten dog:
"Please dont listen to him! I don't know what he's talking about.... I am just a boy, I live here, have no parents no friends, please you musnt believe him, dont let him kill me!"
I gave her most innocent look I could. "Geesh, she has to buy it!" .
