The Great Wall: The Anael Aldridge Chronicles

*Anael: Archangel of love, charity and hope. Fidaus is Indian for Heaven.*

Prologue:

In the home world of Davera, an empress gives birth to twins. The first born is a girl named Anal and she saw hope and charity in her. The boy is named Fidaus, meaning heavenly soul. The father is happy, but the wife is concerned about the dark energy emitting from her son. She fears trouble from him as he grows up, giving into his dark abilities.

"I don't know." the emperor said. "I think you're just suffering postpartum. I'm sure there's nothing there in him."

"Are you sure?" the empress said. "I saw it in Fidaus and he...."

"He'll be fine." the emperor reassured his wife.

As time wore on for the babies, personalities begins to develop. Fidaus like his mother feared, displayed dark, negative energies, along with sociopathic tendencies towards everyone around him. Whereas, Anal show pure and divine energies, which made the people love her. Jealous over his sister, Fidaus as a baby hurled his stuff toys her crib to try and kill her. He was caught by the nurse and even the servant saw what the mother feared.

"Brother, you can't avoid this." the Duke said. "I even saw what happened when he was around my boys. Fidaus used his dark powers to make them cry and my sons never did that."

"Aladriel, it's up to you." the empress said. "You have to look at what we and everyone else has seen in him."

Aladriel tried to ignore it, but more people told him about Fidaus' dark energies. It was not long after they all left that he had time to think about the whole thing. When Aladriel finally realized this, he turned to the oracle to try to find out a way to cure Fidaus from his dark powers.

"Wait here." the oracle said. "I must take him in order to see what we're up against."

"But can you cure him?" Aladriel said.

"Your eminence, that's not my job." the oracle said. "You need to see Brother Raziel for it."

Upon taking Fidaus into a prayer room, she discovered a dark prophecy about the boy. While consulting with the gods, the oracle learns that he will grow into the hated, tyrant king, Famardy. It also reveals that his twin sister, Anal, will become the Beacon of Hope and Prosperity. When the oracle returned from the prayer with Fidaus in her arms, the feeling of dread made Aladriel realize what his planet is up against.

"This is what my wife feared all along." Aladriel said. "Why didn't I believe her the first time?"

"You wanted to believe this will be a phase." the oracle said. "You wanted to hope that Fidaus' dark energies will go away and he'll grow up normally. Your Eminence, this can't be avoided. Fidaus will attempt to kill his sister to prevent her from fulfilling the prophecy about her being the Beacon of Hope. I'm sorry, but the only way this won't happen is if you kill him."

"That's what I'm fearing." Aladriel said.

To further protect Anael from Fidaus and against his wife, Gabel's wishes, he sent her away to Earth. He then prayed for the hope that a loving family will find Anael and love her the same way he and the others have. Forgive me, Anal. Aladriel thought. I have to send you away to protect you. I hope someone on Earth will love you the same way we have. One day, you will understand why I did.

"Your eminence, what do you plan to do with Fidaus?" his general said.

"I don't know." Aladriel said. "Hopefully with my daughter away, I have more time to prevent him from going down a wrong path."

Planet Earth, the year 2378:

As the humans lived in centuries of peace inside the Kaiju walls, the Aldridge, a married couple living in the farm lands are unable to have children and look into the decorated room with relative sadness. Miscarriage and broken promises for adoption has taken it's toll on them. Taking one last look upon the realization that they will never have a child to love and care for, they closed the door to that room. As they headed into their own room, a loud crash was near their home.

"What was that?" Mrs. Aldridge said.

"We're going to find out." Mr. Aldridge said.

As the two went outside to investigate, the ship door opened to reveal a healthy baby girl and emitted a warm light towards the childless couple. Assuming this was a gift from God, they take her in their home. While feeding their new daughter, Mrs. Aldridge decided to name her Anael she would have their last name. Thus, it begins her new life on Earth.

The year is 2394, Anael who has no prior knowledge to her alien heritage, lives as a normal human being. She attends school, has friends and is close to her family. When Anael was four, her parents had adopted a pair of Chinese twin girls after rescuing them from a bleak future at the hands of human traffickers selling them to prostitution homes. She, Leifang and Sun-Mei Wang became close as sisters, watching out for each other and have a balanced relationship. One night as they were out, Anael, Leifang and Sun-Mei watched with everyone else in terror as a kaiju much bigger than a normal one appeared.

"No." Leifang said. "It can't be."

"It is." A town woman said.

"It's a Kaiju." The man said. "He's much bigger than the wall itself."

Watching in terror as the colossal kaiju broke through the foremost wall of Rose. Anael tried to remain calm as she and her adopted sisters helped get them to the safety of Wall Hamiel, the 2nd foremost wall of the human territory. As that went on, Mr. Aldridge having watched this, comes out of retirement and tries to help his fellow man fight off the colossal kaiju. The monster disappears, but the damage done in Wall Rose caused normal sized kaijus to enter. Using scraps used from the ship Anael arrived in to fix his robot Massacre Fields, Mr. Aldridge fought the kaiju's with the military robots. Though they were able to hold off the kaijus from advancing, the loss of life was still staggering. Aldridge was forced to leave his fellow men as he has to be with his daughters.

The Year 2396, at a military base in Wall Hamiel. Anael and her adopted sisters begins their military training.

"We have paid a terrible price for our centuries of peace." The commanding officer said. "There was no way we could've known about the colossal kaiju, nor been able to fight against it given our current alert level. As a result, we were forced to abandon our foremost wall, Wall Rose, and our territory has shrunk down to the limits of Wall Hamiel, where we presently stand. To this day, to avoid our previous mistakes, you will begin your training now. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Sir." the cadets said.

The instructor begins their training right away. He weeds out those who weren't present when Wall Rose was attacked and bullies them as an attempt to wipe the slate clean. One officer notices it and thinks it's wrong because of a similar treatment that he went through himself during the training process. Another officer disagrees with the first one's thoughts.

"I know you see it wrong." the 2nd officer said. "However, it is going to help them get through the rites of passage by wiping the slates clean. They weren't living in Wall Rose when it was attacked and thus it's mandatory for them to get through it."

They watch Instructor Benson walk by the line of cadets, yelling at the others to reject who they were in order to make them better soldiers. They soon notice him ignoring the few cadets in training and the first officer wondered why.

"I noticed that Instructor Benson isn't yelling at a few people." the 1st officer said.

"There's no need for them to go through the rites of passage again." the 2nd officer said. "Look into their eyes and you'll see why he has ignored yelling at them."

When the 1st officer took a look at them, it was revealed why Benson ignored them. With the serious looks of Anael, Leifang, Sun-Mei, four male cadets and an unnamed female cadet, they were present when Wall Rose was attacked by the colossal kaiju and there was no need for them to go through the rites of passage again. the two officers leave as Instructor Benson took notice of a cocky, arrogant young man from the third row.

"You, what's your name." he said.

"Alan Sanov." the cadet said. "I'm from the inner wall of Wall Galadriel in a district known as Wahlen."

"Why are you here?" Instructor Benson said.

"I'm here to join the Military Police and continue to live within the interior." Alan said.

"Oh yeah." Instructor Benson said, head-butting Alan and making him fall on his knees. "Let's see you join them with you on your knees, groveling in pain. They won't accept a weakling like you. Overconfident, cocky fool."

Walking away from Alan who is still on his knees in pain from a head-butt to the head, Benson turned his attention to one of the female cadets.

"You, what's your name?" Instructor Benson said.

"Sasha Slade, sir." a female cadet said. "I'm from the Shina district of Wall Hamiel."

"Slade, huh." Instructor Benson said. "You don't look like a Slade to me. You look like a worthless piece of..... What the **** is that?"

He leaves Sasha as he walks towards a nervous Japanese boy eating a piece of cooked meat while at attention. Instructor Benson is offended by interrupted at midway and confronted the boy. Quickly, the boy finishes half of the meat as Benson arrives to confront him.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" Instructor Benson said. "Do you know that chow isn't allowed outside the mess hall?"

"I was hungry sir, and the meat tastes so good." the boy said.

"What's your name, boy?" Instructor Benson said.

"Masahito Kaneyama." the boy said. "From the Delta District, sir."

He tries to give the instructor the other half of the meat. Later on as the trainees entered the mess hall for supper, Masahito must continue jogging the 600 laps as his punishment for stealing meat outside the hall and trying to bribe a superior with it. As a few watched, there were concerns that he may faint very soon. Inside the mess hall, the others begins questioning Anael about her position there.

"This was a personal matter for me and my sisters." Anael said. "I would expect you resect our wishes to not talk about it."

"Are you from the Patriot District of Wall Rose?" the male cadet said.

"We are." Sun-Mei said. "That was one of our darkest times of our life. Why do you ask?"

"I'm from the Spangled District in Wall Rose." the male cadet said. "I live north of you, but I was in Patriot when this happened."

"Who are you?" Anael said. "We didn't get a chance to introduce ourselves."

"Clark Tanner." the male said. "I'm sorry for being a bit rude, but I was shopping with my older brother for my mother's birthday gift when this happened."

"My name's Anael Aldridge." she said. "This is Leifang and Sun-Mei, my adopted sisters."

*Wall Galadriel, the inner most wall where nobles and royalties live. The military police's headquarters are there.

Project Goliath: A experimental testing for soldiers to become giants and fight the Kaijus.*

As they got to know each other, someone sees Masahito pass out from exhaustion runs over to help him out. She and a friend takes him back to his room to rest up from exhaustion. A few months into the full training, Anael was partnered with a stoic female trainee to spar with. They looked evenly matched at every move to the point the trainees were placing bets on who would win between the two.

"What's going on here?" Masahito said.

"We're placing bets between Aldridge and Elina Salakov." Alan said. "My bet's on Salakov."

"Anael is stronger than Salakov." Clark said. "She may be short, but don't let that fool you. She fast, intelligent and very strong. She could lift big guys like you and hurl you across the field. I've seen her do that before."

As the sparring continued, Elina could see that she was in a for a long day with Anael, given the fact she's much stronger than most of the female trainees. As the two continued to match wits and strength, Instructor Benson catches the rest of the trainees slacking off and ordered them to get back into training. Eventually, Elina got tired and Anael was able to defeat her with a kicking technique her father taught her when she was training with Leifang and Sun-Mei under him.

"Ouch, that hurt." Elina said. "Man you're hard."

"I had to be." Anael said, helping Elina on her feet. "My dad told me we had to be tough even during the years of false peace. At the same time, we also must show compassion to those not strong enough to fight back."

As stoic as she can be, Elina and Anael became close friends. During the time they were bunked with Leifang and Sun-Mei, Elina revealed she was present in the Patriot District when Wall Rose got breached. She lost her father in the time she was also helping others escape into Wall Hamiel.

"You never opened up about your father." Leifang said. "We lost our birth parents when we were children. Bad men were planning to sell us off because we stand as the last few Orientals left on Earth."

The current year of 2400, on the day of graduation. The commanding officer speaks on the current graduating class on those who made the top 10 will be allowed to apply to the military police in Wall Galadriel.

"I will announce the top 10 trainees with exemplarity scores." the commanding officer said. "The top ten trainees will step forward when I call your name. First, Leifang Wang. Second, Anael Aldridge. Third, Clark Tanner. Four, Jason Herveaux. Fifth, Michael Faust. Sixth, Elina Salakov. Seventh, Sun-Mei Wang. Eighth, Valentine Verona. Ninth, Nicolai Devirys. Tenth, Gabriel Reiss. That's all."

That night as they discussed the military branches to go to, Alan was disappointed that he didn't make the top 10 liked he hoped. It was revealed due to his lack of diligence, no self-control and failure grades, Alan didn't graduate on top and must train some more. Furious, he decides to pick a fight with Clark, believing he stole his position from him.

"You didn't deserve my spot." Alan said. "I should've been there."

"Get away from me." Clark said evenly.

Alan punches him in the face and starts a fight. As he continued to blame Clark, Anael got up and picked Alan up and hurled him like he was nothing to her. This shocked everyone else, but Clark, knowing how strong she is during training and studies. Alan gets up from the rubbles and runs over to her.

"You B***!" Alan yelled. "What was that for?"

"You acting like a petulant and spoiled 10 year old." Anael said. "You can't blame others for your own faults. You didn't make the graduating class because you were lazy, obnoxious, self-centered, undignified and outright overconfident. Why do you think I was stronger than you during the training process? I had to learn under my father because he was in the military once and served out in the battlefields against the kaijus. You on the other hand lived in relative safety inside Wall Galadriel and got used to having things your own damn way. Guess what, you're a long way from home and you must live in reality. Stop acting like you're superior to others and grow up, Sanov. It's people like you that makes me disgusted to be around. You only wanted to join the military just so you can be in the Military Police, you're pathetic."

"What about you?" Alan said.

"My sisters and I live with the reality of what happened in Wall Rose." Anael said. "Those who also been there as well knows the horror we been through and therefore can relate to us."

After she walks away, Alan is left to his own thoughts. A superior officers asks what went on earlier because he heard shouting. Everyone got nervous as they heard him. However, Anael turned around to face the officer, her brown eyes serious.

"Just something I'm took care of." she said. "Alan needs more than just some training. He needs an attitude change."

In that time, a couple of scientists has figured out a way to defeat the kaijus with the blood samples they took from the previous ones. As the robots being deployed are proving to be useless against them. They discovered that in the time that they had used the blood samples with the plant's photosynthesis to create a way to defeat them. After careful theory testing and experimenting with lab rats, they were ready to test it out on the first human.

"Dr. Ackerman, Dr. Freeline." the commander said.

"Yes sir." both scientists said.

"Do you have the test ready?" the commander said.

"We do." Dr. Ackerman said. "However, may I ask you why though?"

"Let me explain." Instructor Benson said. "A couple of days ago, we had a couple of trainees tested out for compatibility for your experiments. We wanted to try something new with it."

"Isn't that dangerous?" Dr. Freeline said.

"We'll find out." the commander said.

Dr. Ashlyn Ackerman looked at her colleague, feeling the same nervous feeling as Dr. Freeline. This doesn't look at all promising given the time frame to begin the experiments, but they must hope for the best in order for Project Goliath to work. Getting some sleep for the night, they must prepare for the outpouring of soldiers and trainees wanting to participate. Upon arriving at the labs, Drs. Ackerman and Freeline prepped the scientists about the experiments and were given the all clear to experiment. They warned that they must go through with caution as the serum could overwhelm the soldiers. Once that was taking care of, they proceeded to start the trainees first. Four of the top ten trainee females arrived for the testing.

"I'll take you ladies this way. Dr. Freeline said.

Taken to a waiting room, Anael waited Elina, Leifang and Sun-Mei. During that time, she finally revealed that she wants to be in the Scouting Recon Corps. This came as a complete shock to them as the Scouting Recon Corps though one of the highest and most reliable military branches, has the highest death rates that makes trainees want to join the Military Police.

"That's insane." the secretary said. "They have the highest mortality rate in deaths."

"You weren't there when Wall Rose was breeched." Anael said. "That was the darkest time in our lives. If I can contribute doing this, this will help lower the death rates."

"We going with you." Leifang said.

"No." Anael said. "You....."

"We lost our family once before." Sun-Mei said. "We can't afford losing you too."

"I'm in too." Elina said. "Ana, I'm from your home world."

Anael got shocked when she heard what she said. How Elina could know where she's from had come from, was mind boggling to her. As Anael pondered it, she saw a woman who looked like an older version of Elina, minus the stoic look.

"Aldridge and Salakov." the doctor said. "Come with me."

As the two women walked in with her, Dr. Ackerman took Leifang and Sun-Mei to a different room to proceed. The doctor lead them into a room to endure the injection. The doctor introduces herself as Nadira Salakov, the birth mother of Elina who married an Earth man, Stanley Salakov, that was killed in Wall Rose's breach. Her father trained her in preparation for the war. This was similar to the way Anael's own father did with her along with Leifang and Sun-Mei. Dr. Salakov helped them into the chairs and begins the first phase of Project Goliath. The first phase began, she continued revealing more about Anael's alien origins and how her adopted father was able to use the Daverian technology to improve his robot's powers. Finally it showed her, the birth parents she never knew about, Emperor Aladriel Faust Quintus and her mother, Michele Feilon. During that time, Elina was going through her own memories, along with her mother's and soon discovered what she went through during the first failed coup de' taut that the emperor's younger brother instigated as an attempt to take over the planet and declare war on Earth. He didn't succeed and was banished off to the dead zone.

"Oh my....." Anael and Elina said, upon awakening.

"Phase one, completed." the computer said.

While inside the booth, the commanding leader of the Scouting Recon Corps, Commander Cain Irvin, watched expectantly. If the project succeeds, they can have an army of giant soldiers fighting against the kaijus with better success. While hoping for the success of Project Goliath, Dr. Salakov entered the room.

"There are going to be drawback to it." she said. "Even if the project succeeds, we can't guarantee this will work. Some may experience side effects to the whole project."

"What do you mean side effects?" Commander Irvin said.

"My colleagues has experimented with some of the trainees." Dr. Salakov said. "Most of them suffered from the lack of control in the first phase and we had to take them away so they won't be a threat to the civilians. Some as they entered the final phase, began growing uncontrollably to the point they wanted to go on an extreme rampage and we had to put them down. Only a selected few will be successful."

Phase two got underway as the four female were reunited in the same room. Dr. Ackerman entered the room with Dr. Freeline to join Dr. Salakov and Commander Irvin. As Leifang, Sun-Mei, Anael and Elina continued to endure the 2nd phase. Dr. Freeline took noticed how the four were able to maintain control over themselves, which the others weren't able to do.

"Personal tragedies and close friendships can bind the four together." Dr. Ackerman said. "They are compatible with the project and will have no problems controlling themselves."

"What's the last phase of them all?" Commander Irvin said.

As that continued on, back at the training camp, Alan went through harsh regiments of training, all the while thinking back to what Anael said to him. As irritated as he was, Alan couldn't help but admit she had been right about him originally. He was a spoiled sort of misery and had been used to it since he lived in Wall Galadriel all of his life. However, no one knows about a deeper past about him that he wants to avoid. His father being in the Military Police has often been seen drinking himself into a stupor, picking fights with his comrades and then coming home to brutally abuse his mother. As Alan himself had never witnessed the abuse, he always tried to avoid going home and preferred to remain with his relatives. One night, he came home to see his mother brutally abused and his father brandishing some sort of weapon.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO" Alan screamed.

Everyone else looked at him weird as he was taken away. He is given water by the same girl who took Masahito back into his room. Her name is Gabriel Reiss, one of the top 10 graduates from his class. As Alan tries to rest up, he is plagued more by the horrible things his father has done.

"Maybe it's better you tell me about it." Gabriel said.

"I can't." Alan said. "It's horrible and....."

"I've heard worse." Gabriel said.

"I found my mother battered on the ground." Alan said. "I came home one night from my uncle's house and saw her on the ground with my father hovering over her with a knife in hand. I got angry and I blacked out."

"Did you remember what happened next?" Gabriel said.

"No, I blacked out." Alan said. "The last thing I saw was my father on the floor next to her, dead."

"Get some rest." Gabriel said, putting him to bed. "We'll talk more when I get back."

"Are you sure?" Alan said. "I...."

"I'll be back to talk to you." Gabriel said, brushing aside a piece of blonde hair out of her eyes. "I need you to get some rest.

As Alan started resting, Gabriel looked at him one last time before leaving him. She had to hurry to endure that training, but things began to plague her. Gabriel headed to the office and left a note for the superior to read in requesting a psychiatrist to talk to Alan about what he told her. As she made the trip to endure the Project Goliath program, there was still one thing bothering her and knows she'll have to talk to Alan later.

During the final phase of Project Goliath, most of the trainees are having trouble within one minute of the injection process as they began to grow. The side effects proved to be well founded as they lacked self-control over themselves and attacked others in a frenzy. As a result the trainees with a lack of self-control had to be removed. Out of the trainees, only a selected 40 survived the process.

"40 trainees. Not very promising." Commander Irvin said.

"The project isn't for everyone." Dr. Freeline said. "Most of the trainees don't survive the initial run."

"We can't be all gloom." Dr. Salakov said. "Still if we look at the 40 trainees who did survive that. Those who are able to control themselves can still make up the army needed to stop the kaijus."

"The requirement is 300 giant soldiers." Commander Irvin said. "What about my soldiers?"

"We're getting your soldiers in right away." Dr. Freeline said.

Four hours after the process of Project Goliath, Anael was the first to awaken in that time. Dazed, but also awake, she slowly roused herself into a sitting position. Thinking the project didn't work, Anael was about to get up and leave. However, there was no lab to leave from and all she saw was blue skies. Turning away from that, she also noticed how much smaller the landscape was in comparison to her, predominately the remaining walls of Hamiel and Galadriel. Anael then took notice of Dr. Ackerman running towards her.

"Do not move." Dr. Ackerman said, using bull horn. "You, your sisters and your friend have just survived Project Goliath. You are now the size of giants."

As she mentioned this, Elina, Leifang and Sun-Mei awakened at the same time. Confused to what Dr. Ackerman was saying, Anael took her into her hand so she can explain it better to them about the whole thing.

"Dr. Ackerman was just telling us that we're now giants." Anael said.

"What?" the other three said.

"Calm down." Dr. Ackerman said. "You're just in shock about your new size. It takes time to get used to the new size."

Elina slowly stood up to her new size to see the towns and walls below her. Soon enough, Anael and her adopted sisters followed suit. Realizing that they were now able to stand on their feet, Dr. Ackerman could now see the walls are now up to their waists. That wasn't the only thing though that the girls were able to see. They also saw the once colossal kaiju, now trying to breach Wall Hamiel. Realizing what could happen again, Anael gently put her down to the ground.

"Dr. Ackerman, go back to the lab." Anael said.

"What..." was all Dr. Ackerman said.

It was clear what she meant as Dr. Ackerman returned to the underground lab for safety. The four caught the same colossal kaiju that breached Wall Rose back in 2394. Knowing there was no time to brief them on the mission, Commander Irvin, from inside the underground lab can only hope the girls are able to fight the kaiju off, remembering what happened last time. As the kaiju prepared for its attack on Wall Hamiel, Elina used her left boot to kick it away from the wall.

"I don't think so." she said.

"Look how puny it is to us now." Leifang said, making a grab for the kaiju. "That thing may have laugh at us back then. Now I think a big payback is in order for what ugly did at Wall Rose."

As the kaiju tried to run from the Elina and Leifang, Anael and Sun-Mei blocked it's escape route. They are not going to let ugly escape from it's fate after what he did six years back. Lifting her boot towards the once colossal kaiju, Sun-Mei crushed it underneath boot.

Back inside the lab, the soldier who have watched this with the doctors and Commander Irvin quickly took notice on how Anael, Elina, and the Wang sisters were able to dispose of the kaiju quickly. If they could control themselves quickly during that fight, then many others are sure to follow.

"They did it, commander." the soldier said.

"They did." Commander Irvin said. "The Colossal Kaiju has been taken care of."

"Wall Hamiel is safe." the soldier said.

"Sir." Dr. Denton said. "The males are finally awake."

"We better head back." Leifang said.

"How?" Elina said. "The wall's 60 meters(200ft tall) and we're 90 meters(296ft. tall)."

A young man is watching all of this in the Stationary Guards as the giantesses took care of that colossal kaiju. As he got prepared to tell of what happened, a 2nd kaiju begin it's attack. The man tried to fight the thing off, but the chameleon kaiju caught on and struck him. Anael having caught on the whole thing, grabbed the chameleon like kaiju and snapped it's head off, killing it. The man looked up at her looking a bit nervous after what he had seen. Anael knelt down closer to the man's level, as not to scare him.

"Hi there." Anael said.

The young man got nervous after he heard her say hello to him. As beautiful as she was, he got worried that Anael may hurt him due to her much larger scale. She didn't let it bother her and she lowered her hand next to the young man, motioning to climb into her hand so she can talk to him better. Looking confused, he raised his head to face her.

"Are you sure?" he said. "I worry I may fall off your hand."

"I won't let you fall." Anael said. "You can climb in my hand."

Calming down, he decided to climb into Anael's huge hand. The young man had a bit of a tough time due to both the largeness and thickness of her hand. Once safe in the palm of her hand, she carefully lifted him closer to her face and stood up to her full frame.

During this time a few of the guys of Project Goliath awakened similar, yet taller than the females. It took longer for them to awaken due to the sedation from earlier. Once awaken, Jason took some time to shake off the sedation. He couldn't remember how long he was knocked out or at least how long he was outside. He wasn't alone as Clark, Michael and Nicolai were there with him, also waking up from the sedation. Soon enough, Dr. Freeline comes out of the secret lab entrance near the eastern town of the Stollard District in Wall Hamiel. he was going to have a hard time explaining this the guys about what happened.

"What is this?" Jason said, his voice booming.

"You have survived Project Goliath." Dr. Freeline said. "However, because of the unpredictability about the males giving in to power, we had to sedate you in order to make sure you don't give in to it."

"What do you mean by sedating us?" Jason said.

"What happened?" Michael said.

Dr. Freeline realized he's going to have a tough time explaining this to the males about the sedation, but he didn't have a choice considering the fact that they wanted to know the truth. He begin explaining it to them slowly so they can understand better.

"You mean about the process we could be destructive." Clark said.

"Yes." Dr. Freeline said. "That was why we had you sedated so we can avoid the conflict."

"You ok, little one." Anael said.

"I'm fine." the young man said.

As the young man slowly raised his confidence towards Anael, he saw two other girls similar to her size coming over to join her and it made him nervous on the spot once more. The two that he saw are Oriental descent and there were only few left. Fearing them, the man tried to find a place on Anael's palm to hide from them. There was nowhere to hide from where he stood and they can see him.

"Awwwww, look." Leifang said. "He so cute like that."

"t.. Thank you." was all he said.

The young man looked up as Leifang looked down to face him. As she, Anael and Sun-Mei continued to look at him, the commander of the Stationary guards took noticed of them. The young man peeked out from his place in the palm by climbing up one of her huge fingers to face his commander.

"Sir....." he said.

"Edwards what are you doing there?" the commander said.

"Sir, it was my fault." Anael said. "I was just checking up on him to see if he was ok."

"One question." Michael said. "Why didn't you sedate Anael and the others."

"They were already passed out from Project Goliath." Dr. Freeline said. "Plus, personal tragedies from what happened to Wall Rose allowed them to maintain control of themselves. The other, however, gave in from the last part of the project and they had to be put down."

"We were sedated to prevent it." Jason said.

As Michael and the others come to the realization of their size, they stood up to their full heights. Nearing 93 meters(307 feet) the guys could see how much smaller the wall is compared to them. It would be very easy for them to step over and walk around the cities there. However, they also know that they would have to be very careful doing that at there's people below them that are living there. Just then, Clark turned his head towards an advancing kaiju.

"Kaiju." Nicolai said.

"Yes." Clark said.

"Looks like we're going to have to fight them." Michael said. "I'm actually looking forward to having a good fight."

"Just don't let it happen again." the commander said. "We can't risk losing our own people. We're in the middle of war with the Kaijus. Edwards, we're going to have a little talk about this."

"Yes, sir." Edwards said.

After things were cleared up with the commander of the Stationary Guards, Anael was lowering Edwards down to the top of the wall so he can get off her hand. After being rescued from the chameleon kaiju, he asked to see her again because he wants to show her something. She nods her head in approval, but before she leaves with the others, Elina took notice of trouble on the horizon.

"What is it?" Sun-Mei said.

"We're about to find out, Sunny." Elina said.

"Kaijus." Anael said.

"We better head over to the Eastern section." Leifang said.

While on her way to the lab, Gabriel started feeling signs of sickness going through her system and she didn't understand why. The doctors had made sure she didn't go through that again when she was younger. For the young Reiss heir, Gabriel harbored a secret which no one, except her family knew of and they were afraid of it being exposed for a reason. She had to get out of Wall Hamiel's Stollard District and soon.

"No, this can't be." Gabriel said.

In her rush to get out of the rural area of Stollard, Gabriel found herself growing at a rapid rate. The long secret of her being a giant is about to be exposed soon. As she continued growing, Gabriel realized much to her initial dread that she might have to help the other giants similar to her size stop the Kaiju. That would also mean revealing her family's secret about her for so long. She soon stopped at 89 meters(292 ft.), while the people looked up at her.

"What was that" Michael said.

"We're about to find out." Clark said.

As the kaiju came closer to them, Dr. Freeline realizes that the males are not ready for their first battle. However, he knows they must fight this one out like Anael, Leifang, Sun-Mei and Elina did the first time when the colossal kaiju showed up to attack. Though he had not seen it, he had to hide fast, but where?

As much as Gabriel wanted to interact with the people to reassure them that they're safe, she had to focus and did so by talking Dr. Freeline from his perch on the wall into her hand and kept him safe as she watched the guys fight the kaiju off.

"Get to safety now!" Gabriel told the residents. "Get to Wall Galadriel at once."

Not thinking twice, the people ran to safety to the interior wall. Once they were safe, the kaiju that Michael and the other guys were fighting breached the eastern side of the wall and tried to enter to make the next breach to Galadriel. Seeing there was no other choice but to fight, Gabriel had to take Dr. Freeline into the safety of Galadriel.

"That thing broke though Wall Hamiel." Clark said. "We better pursue that ugly thing."

The guys continued to pursue the kaiju as it kept getting closer to the wall. Having enough, Michael dragged it back towards the breach of Wall Hamiel and eventually killed the thing. Once the thing was killed, he, Clark and the other guys dragged it back to the breach and used it's deceased body to pug the wall up so no other kaijus can enter through Hamiel like the colossal one did to Wall Rose.

Character Refs:

Anael Aldridge/Princess Anal Mina Quintus: The older twin sister of Fidaus and lead character of the story. The birth daughter of Aladriel and Michele, Anael is the princess of her home world of Davera. She has a younger brother, Rallo. Her paternal half-sibling are Cael Makto(brother) and Serafina(sister). Sent to Earth to protect her from her brother, Anael is adopted by the Aldridge and has two adopted sister, Leifang and Sun-Mei. She and her adopted sisters were there when Wall Rose fell to the Colossal Kaiju. Anael graduated 2nd overall and currently a part of the Giant Soldiers in defeating the Kaiju menace. Has red hair, brown eyes and stands at 5'6.

Leifang Wang(Giant Phoenix): One of Anael's adopted sisters and one of the few known Orientals left standing. Before, she used to live within the farmlands with her twin sister, Sun-Mei and their parents. During their embroidery session, their mother explained the mark of the Wang clan. She watched with horror as three slavers killed off their father. Her mother warned Leifang to escape with Sun-Mei and seek help. The twins were frozen in fear as one of the slavers killed her. As they attempted to grab the sisters and run, they were rescued by Anael's adopted father, Frank Aldridge and the girls were taken in. Ranked 1st overall in graduation and also part of the Giant Soldiers. Stands at 5'3 with short black hair and brown eyes.

Sun-Mei Wang(Giant Sun Plum): Leifang's twin sister and another of Anael's adopted sisters. Living with their adopted family, she like Anael and Leifang were witnesses to the day the Colossal Kaiju attacked Wall Rose. She graduated 7th in graduation, she is also part of the Giant Soldiers. Stands at 5'3 with short black hair with red highlights and brown eyes. Nicknamed Sunny.

Clark Tanner: A man whom was also there when Wall Rose fell to the Colossal Kaiju. He befriended Anael and the others as they were present when the wall fell. He graduated 3rd overall and is a part of the Giant Soldiers. Stands at 6'7 with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Elina Salakov: a stoic young woman with short blonde hair in a bun and blue eyes. Standing at 5'11, she is one of the tallest females. From the Patriot District of Wall Rose, she went through hell losing her father in the fight against the kaijus. After graduating 6th overall, Elina is part of the Giant Soldiers and has a crush on Sun-Mei(implying a possible lesbian relationship between the two).

Michael Faust: A young man who is from the eastern district known as Liberty in Wall Rose. He was also present when Wall Rose fell. Very motivated but at times irrational which can prove to be a problem. He graduated 5th overall and is part of the Giant Soldiers.

"The kaiju that males were fighting broke through Wall Hamiel." the soldier said. It took them a while before killing it."

"Damn it." Dr. Ackerman said. "This never happened to Anael and the others."

"They knew better than to get distracted." Dr. Salakov said.

However this was far from over, as the guys soon learn that when part of the wall fell off, there was a human-like kaiju peeking out at them. As nervous as they were, Clark, took off his jacket and used it to cover the hole so sunlight can't seep into that thing and make it's escape.

"I don't want to know what that thing was doing in the wall." Nicolai said. "Things like this could creep out the public if they knew what that was really housed for."

During that time, a shadowy figure of a man watched as the males discussed what do to with the information of the human-like kaiju. It looks like he wasn't happy about the true nature of the wall and feared his plans of taking over Earth will be exposed to the max. Before he did, the man took notice of a red-haired princess that left Davera and became worried. Realizing what this will mean if the prophecy will happen, he left. Disappearing without a trace, the man returned to the exiled world to report his findings.

"Master Famardy won't be happy about this recent turn of events." the man said. "He will kill us all."

Gabriel headed to the guys to talk to them as well as Anael, Elina, Leifang and Sun-Mei. It looks like from what they saw, the guys had found out what was hidden behind the wall. This doesn't look promising to them as public knowledge would turn the people against the king if this was ever found out.

"What do we do about this?" Michael said.

"What can we do?" Elina said. "Public knowledge of this could cause revolt."

"I don't know." Anael said. "I think we need to find out more about the kaiju like giants in the walls before we can decide."

"How?" Nicolai said. "You saw what that colossal kaiju and the chameleon was capable of."

"We know." Sun-Mei said.

Back in the exiled dark world known as the Dead Zone, an older Fidaus was banished to the dark world as his punishment for trying to lead another revolution against his father. Denouncing his name to become Famardy, he began phase 1 to destroy the last hope of the human race. Knowing they're pathetically hiding behind anti-kaiju walls, Famardy used it to his advantage by sending the colossal kaiju to attack them. As he prepped for phase 2, a man showed up.

"What is it, Sakin?" Famardy said.

"The Colossal Kaiju fell." Sakin said. "Some female giants prevented it from breaking down the 2nd wall."

"What?!" Famardy said. "Giants humans?! That's impossible. Human technology has been backwards compared to ours."

"That's not all, sir." A female warrior said. "Judging by Sakin's claims, there's something else as well."

Sakin proceeded to explain a red-haired woman with an army of giants with her. This made Famardy more nervous as he remembered who the redhead was, his older twin sister, Anal. Realizing what will happen if she fulfills the prophecy of being the Earth's Beacon of Hope, he orders they leave the Dead Zone and lead a full blown attack on Earth.

"I can't afford mistakes." Famardy said. "If my father had indeed hid her there on Earth, he made a terrible mistake. I will kill her and take control once and for all."

"How did you become this big?" Elina said. "You didn't undergo Project Goliath."

Gabriel knew it was time to tell them the truth before something else happened. She revealed that her father, Harold Reiss was a full Earth human, while her mother was a Daveran human that came to Earth when the 2nd attempt at the Kaiju walls were being made. As Gabriel herself is royal blood on Earth, this kind of knowledge will put her family in serious danger if this was discovered.

"You're half Daveran." Anael said.

"The residents of my mother's home world can become giants." Gabriel said. "She was able to and so can I."

"We like to know more about this." Clark said.

"This may take a while to explain." Gabriel said.

While overhearing Gabriel tell her story to the others, Lucas Edwards thought about Anael and her kindness in saving his life from the chameleon kaiju. Though still intimidating to Lucas at her gigantic form, he saw how kind and gentle she was in holding him in her hand. Watching Anael stare at him for a bit, before taking him into her hand. Once safe in the palm of her hand, Lucas watched her face him. He didn't know how the relationship would work out with the size differences they'd face.

Back on Davera, Empress Michele became worried about the negative activity on Earth and more concerned about her daughters. Knowing that Aladriel will not open the portal connecting Earth to Davera unless it's trade routes to the still functioning Kaiju Masters bases. She decides she needs to go back to Earth without delay and grabs a few clothing and her armor. As she watched carefully of the guard's walking by, Michele left a transcribed note to Aladriel before sneaking away. Heading into the Salakov Forests in the usual route she's gone to, she meets up Gabel, a legendary Kaiju Master with Anak Tyr, now humanized from her Celestial form that she took from her previous time on Earth, and her father's Otachi, Banton.

"Empress, what are you doing here?" Banton said in telepathy.

"I know it's asking too much." Michele said. "But I need to return to Earth.

"Are you nuts?" Banton said, in telepathy. "The portal connecting this planet to Earth is closed off."

"Your husband will have my neck for this." Gabel said, in Daveran.

"I know." Michele said, clearly understanding their concerns. "I'm suggesting the path that you used to take."

Banton realized what she was talking about, the route from Davera to the Solar system. This wouldn't take long, but given Aladriel's protective nature of Michele while pregnant with her fourth child with him, he knows she shouldn't be traveling. However knowing that Anak Tyr would agree with her, Banton allowed Gabel and the empress to get on his back and they left in the night. Oh Fidaus, why did you forsake us? Michele thought. We loved you so much.

"Mama." Famardy said. "I'm...."

"Sir, are you all right." Sakin said.

"I'm fine." Famardy said. "Get the ship out of here. I'll be in my quarters."

Inside his own quarters, Famardy was contemplating his plans when he felt his mother flying towards Earth. Mama. he thought. Remembering his time growing up as Fidaus. he and Michele became close despite his dark powers, but his enmity was still with his father, Aladriel, for keeping him away. Around his 2,000th birthday, he learned to control his dark powers and use it as a sign of protection, rather than corruption. When a man attempted to rape his mother, Fidaus went against his promise to her and used his dark powers to kill him. Overtime the dark powers begin to take him over and thus he lead a revolt against his father.

"Fidaus, please stop." Michele said. "Think about everyone else here."

"Mama." Famardy said. "I'm sorry... Dad has to..."

Famardy can't understand why he was feeling the way he is when it comes to his mother. He felt like Fidaus around her because of the impeccable patience and kindness she has for him. When Famardy saw the tears spilling from Michele's eyes, he wanted to hug her and tell he everything would be all right.

"Mama!!!" Famardy screamed.

Back on Earth, as Gabriel continued to tell her story, she was interrupted by another roar. It was a Kaiju in the midst. Anael turned around to see the kaiju with wings and put Lucas down. Running quickly, he rang the bell to warn the others to warn the populace to get to safety at once.

"Get to safety." Anael said. "We've got trouble."

"We've got a kaiju." Michael said.

While the giants fight off the winged kaiju, a darker man watched this. Underneath his disguise is his true Precursor form. Enraged that the others sided with Pentra to return to Anterra to restore life there, he swore to have Earth to himself even if it means brute force.

"Humanity will not win this war." he said. "Earth belongs to US!"

Arriving on Earth, Gabel with Anak Tyr and Banton took notice of this disasters of what happened. She realized that it gotten much worse since she left to take her leadership after her father's death. Anak Tyr took notice of the dark man, whom Gabel recognizes as the former Bishop Reikon. Remembering her previous fight with him, Gabel drew her weapons and attacked him from behind.

"Ouch." Reikon said, clearly irate. "You Daveran hybrid scum."

"Watch your mouth around me." Gabel said. "You should've given up when you had the chance. You don't even have any people."

"You helped that human loving traitor out." Reikon said.

"You sent Falos after ME!" Gabel said. "You knew I was protecting Pentra and Nalush."

"Falos was one of my assassins sent to kill the traitor." Reikon said. "He had his own agenda in killing you, but you killed him first."

"In my world." Gabel said. "It's kill or die. I'm not going to be killed for your stupidity."

"Neither will I." Reikon said.

During their fight, Gabel and Reikon were evenly matched. Eventually, she overpowers him and kills Reikon. Before dying, he cryptically warns Gabel to tread carefully on the true Famardy. She didn't have time to think about what Reikon said as two kaijus came straight towards her. Not hesitating in the slightest, Gabel transformed into her armor form.

"You two up for a good fight." Gabel said.

"Of Course." Anak Tyr said.

"Absolutely." Banton said, telepathically.

While fighting the moth kaiju, Anael used her scanning device to scan for it's weakness. The moth proved to be much stronger and thus they can't detect it.

"Damn it, how did it know." Elina said.

"I don't know." Michael said.

"I'm still trying to figure that out." Anael said.

However, a girl with blonde hair, red highlights and dark eyes(similar to Gabel) sees this. Using her Slattern partner, Coniraya and their training in Ghost Drifting, Arielle was able to defeat the moth kaiju easily. The young giantess, Gabriel, recognized her from their time together when Arielle visited their town for supplies.

"Don't tell Anael yet." Ariel said, in telepathy.

"Why not, Ari." Gabriel said, in telepathy.

"You know why." Arielle said, in telepathy. "This concerns Anael's birth mother whom is on Earth. My mother will be in serious trouble for bringing her here. Please don't tell Annie yet about me."

Gabriel understood as Arielle headed back to Area 47. Keeping a secret like this will be hard on her, but much worse for her friend's mother. Taking the time to disappear from Anael and the others for a moment, Gabriel took some time to shrink back to her normal size and headed back to the palace. She know this is only the beginning.
