School was hell like it always was. I was constantly being teased for what I liked. And what I liked, I must admit, was childish. Drifting through my empty house like a phantom, I retreated to my room cradling my most precious item, it's cold plastic warmed by the heat of my clenched hands. It almost cut me, its sword having been long ago sharpened for battle by yours truely. I slammed the door and fell atop my bed finally releasing the figure.
The green of his armor glinted in the light of my room. His expression was blank, cold and unmoving. He was my favorite monster. I loved him so much that I searched long and hard for a Capsule Monsters figure of him. I just wished for one thing...
"Celtic Guardian..." I found myself sighing, "I wish you were real. Then maybe I would not be picked on so much." Curling up into a ball around him, I began to drift.
----------------------------------------
She had said it. A gloved hand clutched at the mosters heart, a beart coming to life under his fingers. Blushed toned his pale cheeks from under the black triangles that adorned his flesh. His pointed ears pricked in happiness.
"No," came a demanding voice from behind the warrior, "That world no longer needs or believes in us monsters." The shadows controted and melded together to create a different being. His pale blue skin and sharp commanding red eyes stared intently at the other monster.
"My master is hurting," the warrior stated turning away from the magician.
"Exodia will not let you pass to her realm," the Magician of Chaos huffed begining to meld back into the darkness.
"Sir!" a shrill voice called out. The newcomer wore a suit and his blond hair was a disaster.
"Phantom, what is it?" demanded the Magician.
The Witty Phantom paused to catch his breath before his rash explination, "A part of Exodia is missing!" That was all the warrior needed to hear. All that was left was a blurry shadow and a puff of wind as Celtic Guardian sprinted to where the gateway was. Clutching his staff, Chaos began a chant.
"What is that for?" Witty Phantom asked smoothing down his hair.
"For his safty. The card his master holds is not his. It is fake. He is going to have to get there another way."
"That does not sound good."
"It isn't." ---------------------------
He had skillfully leaped past the flailing arms and kicking legs of the headless monster and plunged through the portal to the human realm, but he failed to think things through.
Once in the portal, one could not pause for anything. And he could not sense his card. But a voice was leading him sonmewhere. With a blinding flash of hot pain, Celtic cried out. His voice did not echoe for long. There was heat all around him. A weight he could not push off pinned him down.
"Celtic..." a voice boomed from behind him. He turned his head as much as he could to see his master, but something was not right.
"The figure!" he gasped gritting his teeth and hoping his master would not stif. But the Celtic Guardian had never been lucky.

Whoops! Seems like he's already in danger.
To be truthful, I had to go and look up all of the monsters except Celtic ... it's been too long since I watched any of this.

Something was moving against me. At first I thought it was just the cat, but it jabbed me with something sharp. With a moan, I rolled over to get up.but something stopped me. It flailed about in my arms, the cold metal biting at my skin. Wait, metal? I rolled over and stared at my figurine sitting still in my hands.I stared at it, deep in thought.
"What is different?" I asked the plastic figure knowing he would not answer. But something was different. As I stared, I noticed his eyes looked different. And then he did something I could never have expected, he blinked. With a sharp cry, I flung him across my small room. He hit the floor with a metallic bang.I heard him say something but shock was running through me.
"Stay away!" I warned him as he stood on shaking legs. He helmet had fallen from his head and lay near the bed. His sword lay halfway hidden in my sheets.
"No," was his answer, "Besides I am at a bit of a disadvantage and you called me here." His voice was light, but strong, a power hiding in his deep tones. His catlike yellow eyes glared at me like daggers. He fell to sit indian style on my maroon carpeted floor, an unhappy scowl etched on his stern features.
"But the capsule monster never..." I gasped leaning over my bed to attempt to snatch a better look at him. My stomach did flips each time he moved.
"I had to come here like this since the card you own is fake. Or I would be standing here in my original form instead of this. The Dark Magician would laugh at my shame..." he grunted in a frustrated manner.
"The Dark Mag... Wait? My Celtic Guardian card is fake?"

none of that made any sence... but who cares!! ;D Me being the writer I kind of care. I failed to mention that this is a yu-gi-oh fanfic, so does that help clear things? And Neon, should I put up pictures of the monsters to make things clearer? Once I get my spazzing virused camp working again.

I took the cold card from my wall and looked it over. It had the emblem of a real card, but the toy had said it was fake.I had my doubts.
"It looks like a real card..." I pouted. The small monster glanced up at me, his ears being the most expressive of his features as they perked up.
"As a human I would expect you not to see a fake card from a true card. Only a few true cards were made after all." He shook his head, a bitter smile resting on his lips. He tried to stand again, only to quickly return to the ground. His legs were weak from being bashed against the ground. I wrung my hands worried about him. Any inguries were my fault.
"How do you know then?" I demanded. He still scared me, but his deep voice had no malice hiding behind his words. He looked up at me again. His yellow eyes almost seemed to glow with a warm light for a few seconds. A low chuckle bubbled up from his small form.
"No aura from the shadow realm. It is fake in our world," he muttered. He flopped down onto his back to gaze at my ceiling. No matter how long I stared at the card, I saw nothing oiut of the ordinary.
"You know you do not have to be afraid of me. I came here to help you, not hurt you. You can call me Celtic," the small monster explained with a wave of hie leather gloved hand. I could not help but to smile. I grabbed his sword and crawled to the ground. His ears perked up at the noise I made falling to the carpet.
"You know, it hurt more when you pushed me down into the bed than when you flung me across the room," Celtic laughed. I could not believe him.
"Well I am sorry," I sarcasticlly retorted.
"I know," he replied, "I have been watching you for a long time. I just wish your card was a true gateway so we could formally meet." I laid his blade next to him.
"So if I showed you more cards you can pick the real cards?" I asked.
"Of course." He glanced at me with a curious expression. I fliched back once but wrapped my hand about his waist.
"Come with me," I stated.
"I do not really have a choice. Just be more gentle," he begged. Feeling him squirm under my fingers made my skin crawl. I dropped him in my backpack and not able to hold my excitement, bolted out the door.

Bouncing up and down in my crowded backpack was most likely not the monster's idea of gentle. He gripped the edge of my brightly covered mathmatics book in order to better steady himself as I ran from my home. The apartment down the road was where Janet lived. I realized that my new friend still did not know my name. But introductions would have to wait. The steel stair leading to Janet's apartment was under my feet. I almost flew upwards, Celtic's cries grating against my ears. My knocks on her door were eratic and hurried. The door slowly opened.
"Clare?" Janet gasped pushing her long brunette bangs from her eyes.her bangs were longer than the back of her in style haircut.
"Can I come in?" I panted, "It's important." Janet stepped to the side allowing me entrance to her living room. Knowing where her room was, I ducked behind the door. As she went to tell her mother it was just me, I pulled the Celtic Guardian from my backpack. He didn't look so good.
"I'm going to be sick," he gulped lurching forward. As he fell against the cool wood of the floor, I dug out his blade and his helmet. Both had been jammed into my text book leaving gashes.
"What!? Does he move now?" Janet squealed dancing back a few steps from the stirring monster.
"He's friendly! Or has been so far," I exclaimed, "Isn't he cool!" Celtic gave my friend a small wave. Jan knelt beside him.
"He's real?" She gasped pointing a finger closer to him. He simply too it and shook her finger in a form of greeting.
"Miss Janet," he polietly sighed bowing his head, "Miss Clare tells the truth. I am real." I blushed almost forgetting why I really went to her house.
"Lay your cards on the floor," I asked her, "Celtic needs to look at them." She reached for a tin, dragging it from under her bed. She opened it hesitantly. As soon as the lid popped off, Celtic gave a cry that almost made my heart stop.
"A gateway!" He leaped into the tin and fished out a card with an angel dipected on its glossy holographic surface.
"A GX card? Great!" I moaned. GX was a bad trip. I was silenced by a glare from both the monster and my best friend.
"Honest! I summon you!" Celtic called in a strong voice. The card glowed breifly in a hot light. Wings filled one corner of the room, their multi-colored tips a brillent sight. His wild gold hair fell in waves, framing his sharp face well. His eye were an ice blue that shined with joy. He was dancing, his hips swaying with his rythem.
"It's been so long I came out of my body with you," he sang in a powerful clear voice, "I feel alone, feel at home, feel nothing is true... Wait! Where? How was I dragged past Exodia?" The angel's euphoric expression turned to one of shock. He looked at the humans kneeling near a toy that moved.
"Exodia has been injured," Celtic called up to the native american themed angel. Honest gasped and fell to his knees.
"Celtic Guardian?" he breathed poking the small figure gently. Celtic was quick to push him away.
"You are one of the few who know how to use human technology Honest. We were lucky in summoning you. Can you hotlink us to the shadow realm. I need to speak to Witty Phantom."
"I understand what you are asking of me, but this will be hard without a desktop. Laptops don't have the power I need to extract to make a link," Honest lamented with a sweep of his large hand. I have a desktop, unlike Janet, but the monster made me nervous.
"Honest," squeaked Janet bringing the monster's sharp gaze onto her, "I'm Janet and this is Clare. If we can get to her place and she will allow us..." I felt Celtic's small hands touch me knee. His eyes were pleading.
"Fine, but we have to hurry," I hissed. I lifted the Guardian into my hands carefully. Honest grinned playfully.
"Hurry I can do. Hold on tight!"

Ok, so Honest is human sized. And the song he was singing was Ghosts 'n Stuff by Deadmau5 ft. Rob Swire. If you like Techno, look it up!
