Translation of the answers
Make it a complete surprise - Don't post character profiles
Semi-Surprise perhaps - Post limited profiles..that don't give away ANY spoilers....
I don't like surprises...and I'm curious - Go all out...Post the profiles you have written [are going to write...]...even if a spoiler or two pr more may be there ...
For those who don't know FOAL stands for Freak On A Leash and it's a compilation of short stories involving a apocalyptic future Earth that I've been plotting for over a year....
My new site is going to host said stories...along with all the info you need about the world of FOAL
AND AND AAANNNNNDDDD
it shall be an RP site as well...though the set up will be different on there than here...a majority of the RPs in my new site will be one on one rather than the more common group RPs found on messageboards >__>;;
However, as of yet, the RPing section of my new site is NOT up yet...^^;...I want to get more info on my world and the map of the new world late out first u____u...I let y'all know when I start up the RPing section...
The RPing section will probably be up before my stories will ^^;...I want to completely write out each story before posting it >_>;

Characters in stories and RP characters can be different, at first, so this one was a bit difficult to vote on. Of course, in an RP itself you can't get all the backstory in, because it's just fluff and distracts from the RP. Er ... am I making sense? It's always nice to have the very basic information on a character you are roleplaying opposite, especially since it's not practical or sensical to repeat this information within the RP itself. *shrug*
I look forward to seeing your new site in its completion, though. :3

oh poop..I forgot to be specific...I meant the characters for my stories...NOT my RP characters >_>.....I'd be making up different characters to RP with most likely lol ^^;;;....
Sorry for any confusion, guys ^^;;;

See, story characters don't need profiles. XP That's all I meant. Heh, sorry for misunderstanding.

That's true...but I was thinking of making the profiles sort of a draw to my stories [if my stories ever actually come from the recesses of my mind onto paper or rather MS word document XD]...I post the profiles...people "get to know" the characters [at least to a certain degree..I wouldn't post every single detail about them >_> ].,..and then want to know more...or it could totally backfire >_>;;;
and some people really don't like spoilers ....so..*shrugs*..I dunno...gah..I'm so indecisive DX
