((small warning...nother short mouth scene...^^; Honestly...if you people don't prefer that stuff you probably shouldn't be reading this story...heheh....))
She smiled and nodded her head. "My dad called me the nurse on the ship, the men never know how to take care of themselves." She said as she sat down and pushed open the crate. She dug through the contents before removing what she needed and setting it aside, beginning to clean the wound.
Curious, Dryn bent down to watch her work...fascinated with the fact that she knew exactly what to use and how to use it..."Interestin.."
Seria blushed and looked up to him in confusion. "I-It's not all that hard..." She said softly and picked up the bandages and wrapped it around her hand until she was content. "There...all patched up."
The giant shrugged, "I still think it's interestin..." Glad to see that her hand was properly taken care of he slowly brought his own hand up and held it out beside her, offering her his palm..."I'll take you to tha surface now if you like...you could probably use the fresh air anyway...." He paused a moment, ears flattening in a hesitant look, "I hate to tell you...but there's really only one way ta get you back up there though..."
Seria sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. She sucked in a breath and gestured him closer with a hand. "Okay Mr. Orca let me see those chompers of yours..." She said with a humored voice. It was her fault she got hurt before, he kept her safe even when that was probably uncomfortable with him too. She was hesitant to believe herself but...she trusted him.
snorted, "Mr. Orca? Please...I'm old enough as it is...please don't make me sound old too...It's just "Dryn"."
She raised an eyebrow and looked him over. "You look in your 20s though...you're not old..." She said in confusion. Was he one of those people that thought 25 was getting old?
The water giant gave a soft chuckle, "Eya...I know I do...but...trust me...I've been around for a long time. But...I don'a really want to talk about it." He added quietly before quickly changing the subject, "Anyway...are you ready teh go?"
She pursed her lips and pushed a finger that was held out in front of her. "If you push me in I'm just going to panic..." She said honestly. "Just...don't swallow me or I'll kill ya from the inside out." She said as she crossed her arms and turned her head to the side with a smirk. "The expert fishing woman knows how to work her way out of dangerous situations."
Dryn raised an eyebrow in surprise before giving her a look of exaggerated fear, "Oh, I'm sure you can...I don'a doubt that at all..." He shook his head, then smiled kindly, "I promise you, lil' one...I won'a swallow...and I'll be careful...just, try an stay away from muh fangs this time, please..." He gently scooped her into his palm and held her up in front of his mouth, opening his jaws wide, but waiting to let her step in rather then setting her in there...
Seria was surprised to get a good look at his fangs. It wasn't expected to be offered to step in. Last time she was just thrown in this time she had time to look at just how big his teeth really were. She stood up shakily and stepped inside, giving his tongue a playful shove and sat herself down behind his front teeth. If she was going to be in here she wasn't going to sit on that slimy tongue monster again.
Dryn smirked slightly when he felt Seria step in and shove his tongue aside. Apparently she didn’t feel like sitting on it. Not that he could blame her. It was a bit uncomfortable, but he made sure to keep his tongue out of the way so that she could sit comfortably after he closed his mouth.
The taste of human sent shivers of pleasure through him…but he frowned and quickly shoved the thought aside with a disgusted scowl. Now, after actually meeting one of the tiny creatures, he was beginning to start to think of them differently…he was starting to feel remorse for all of the terrible things he had done. In that moment, he made a silent vow to change…to protect the humans…especially Seria…
After making sure his lips where tightly pressed together, he sank beneath the surface and began he journey out of the stone maze to get back to the open ocean…
Seria carefully reached out and poked his tongue when she noticed that he kept it away from her. Did she taste like salt? She blinked and lowered her head, sniffing her arm. She couldn't really smell anything...huh.
Dryn murmured a little, chuckling soflty when he felt her poke his tongue…it kind off tickled.
Once he slipped through the narrow entrance, he sped up, slicing through the open water up towards the surface….
She couldn't help but be curious to see what Dryn might see under the water. Though she could hear the water rushing past his body. She sighed softly and leaned her back against the curve of his front teeth, yawning. The moist air in his mouth was beginning to make her sleepy...
water giant slowed just before reaching the surface, gently breaking through the waves and drawing in a deep breath through his nose before carefully opening his mouth and holding a hand just outside for Seria...
She yelped softly to have half her chair disappear. She poked her head out before carefully slipping out onto his hand with a deep breath of fresh air. "Wow..." She gasped when she looked at the huge blue sky. "That's so much better then last night."
Dryn chuckled softly and held her out in front of himself, most of his body still under water, "Wha...Tha ride or tha weather?"
She laughed and looked over her shoulder at him. "Both. And look!" She said waving her hands at him. "I left with no cuts~" She grinned and looked at the water with a tilt of her head. "...Aren't you afraid some animal is going to bite you in the butt?.."
The giant grinned approvingly when she held up her hands, "That you did! And I'm glad..." ^___^ His grin turned to an almost arrogant smirk, "Any creature dumb enough teh bite me deserves teh be breakfast..."
