((This is a side RP that Boo and I are doing...It's in the same universe as "Love Thy Enemy..and you should recognize one of the main Charries ;].....))
It has been so long now…so so long since she’s seen any redeeming quality in this world’s people…Cat person..Predators…Whatever…they all wanted a piece of her….Except for …HIM..but he’s been gone for quite a few years now…He was a stranger in his own land…and he paid the ultimate price for it…And she…she was forever a stranger in a strange land…Heh…Even worse off than him.
Keira snarled using her one good arm and her feet to shimmy up a tree. Escaping a fox who wanted to make a midnight meal out of her. Heh…fat chance, she thought to herself coyly. After getting to a secure branch, she gave a small chirp of victory… waving her other stub of an arm around in a teasing manner at the fox….whom just stalked off in return. Giving one final smirk, she leaned up against tree trunk while looking down at the world below her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blake was in a rotten mood as usual. Tom had been moping all day and nothing bothered Blake more than people dwelling on the painful past. 'Get over it,' he thought 'At least you still got tomorrow to look forward to.' To calm himself down Blake would go on walks, it was dark but his blue cat eyes saw everything he needed to see and he never needed much sleep, in fact he didn't remember the last time he had slept...
His ears perked suddenly to the sound of a grunting animal and its paws padding on the dirt. A fox turned a bush into Blake’s view, and in his lousy mood Blake pinned his ears back and hand hissed threateningly, showing his fangs. The fox bristled and growled before taking off, Blake growled back and glared at the animal as is scampered away before continuing on his walk. "Damn, what a shitty day..." The black cat mumbled while leaning against a tree, "Wish they would all just disappear," he whispered about everyone in his life, it felt like it wouldn’t have been a bad thing if they all did, at least he'd get some peace.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keira scowled at the episode below her. Anything that was bigger than something else just seemed to have the need to pick on the smaller being. This world is just so unfair…why can’t everyone just get along!, she thought to herself in vain. She scowled as the cat boy leaned against HER tree. “Go Away,” she muttered under her breath…Realizing she said this out loud she covered her mouth in shock. Oh God, please don’t let him have heard me! She thought in a slight panic. However, a part of her deep down inside didn’t really give a shit if he heard or not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
His momentary peace seemed to have lasted less them a moment when he heard a whisper above him. The peeved cat pushed off the tree and turned toward it, glaring at the trunk of the old oak, Blake lifted his foot and planted it into the tree ruthlessly.
Blake was always unnaturally strong, so his parents put him into every martial arts program there was in the area -boxing, kick boxing, karate and even kung fu- in hopes of their son hitting punch-bags and not people.
The tree shivered and the black cat looked up to see who would fall or at least be knocked off balance by his kick, he was honestly thinking a young girl would fall out, but instead a small squirrel was what came plummeting to the ground. The impulse to catch a nearby falling object over came him and he reached out with both hands just in time for the small creature to plop into his palms.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keira’s eyes widened in panic as she noticed that the cat boy DID, indeed, hear her. ‘Well..Crap,’ she thought to herself…That was before she suddenly found herself plummeting towards the ground. It all happened so fast. One second he was scowling towards the tree, the next second he FRIGGIN KICKED the tree…HER tree…and now she was speeding towards the ground… Only to land on a firm, leathery surface…His hands to be specific. ‘Fuck.’
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blake raised a brow at the scared looking squirrel then glanced up at the tree, "Was that you making that noise?" He mumbled, not expecting an answer "Sorry, thought I heard some talking, not squirrel chatter..." Blake was about to put the rodent girl down when his yellow eyes caught sight of something peculiar about her. His hand quickly but gently closed around her torso, his other hand he put at her feet so she could support herself. "Damn, chica, what the hell happened to you?" He muttered as he eyed the area where her arm should be "That's gotta be a bitch to deal with," He sighed as he gave it a close look, making sure that it hadn't happened recently. It looked old, good, his parents would be pissed if he brought another injured animal home...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keira twitched. Keira did not lose a majority of one of her arms for no reason. She was a belligerent little devil. So enraged by his “squirrel chatter” comment whatever else he said seemed to slip her mind as she roared “Squirrel chatter? SQUIRREL CHATTER!? What the fuck!? I’m no dumb rodent, you bastard!!!” And with those “fierce” words she swiveled around on his palms and sunk her long rodent-like front teeth into the connection of flesh between his thumb and finger.
