1) Headlong into Fate's Hands - This is about Gulliver’s great (X 9) granddaughter…who is striving to look to prove her great (X 9) grandfather’s not crazy. Knowing she needs to bring in proof and knowing Brobdingnag was too dangerous, she sets off to find Lilliput…however, much to her dismay, she ends up in the place she was avoiding from the very beginning. And just like England has changed immensely…so has Brobdingnag…and it’s not necessarily for the better.
2) The Definition of Love - This is a Borrowers side tale [from the same Borrowers universe as the Life with the Turners saga]. This is the story of a young girl [or rather young woman] who comes from a colony of Borrowers that live inside a college building [that happens to be the one that contains the library]. Though only chosen a few are allowed to leave the inward workings of the colony [just to scavenge for food], the girl sneaks out every night to read books and magazines. In a way, she’s educating herself. However, one day a guard shows up in the library early in the morning [like 3 or 4 am] while the borrower girl is out reading. You see, a few robberies have happened in the building earlier in the week, so a guard has been hired to stake out each floor…even the library [which had been yet to be robbed]. Scared, the girl decides to hide within the book shelves while the giant man is there…However, he never leaves until the librarians get there….Thus, she is stuck there…and it only gets more and more frightening and risky as students start to poor in. However, she seemed to be hiding pretty well…until HE came along.
