Grease is the Word~

We're doing Grease for our musical this year at my school, and we recently had the auditions and casting and such. I'm so excited! I will be playing Frenchy, and I couldn't ask for anything better.

I get to have pink hair, for crying out loud!

Anybody else have fantastic theatrical experiences? I've seen some people around mentioning it. Favorite roles you've played? Favorite shows you've seen?

I remember seeing a stage version of Hercules once ... it was a lot of fun. I've been to one Musical Revue, I enjoyed it immensely (they sang "Seize the Day" from Newsies, I was so happy). Uhm ... I'm going to see Stomp this coming Friday.

I have seen the Musical Jekyl and Hyde at a Communitty Theatre here, it was awesome, very well done, scary, great special effects, its one of my favorite musicals, right up there with Grease, I also like Little Shop of Horrors. I am a big Theatre buff!! :>

D: You gotta be kidding me. EVERYONE in our high school drama department wanted to do Grease for the annual musical, and what do we do? We do a complete 180 and choose Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! -_-; Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. Besides, Willy Wonka IS one of my favorite books. And hey, I get to be Veruca (which pretty much rocks because I get to scream every practice XD) so I think it'll be okay. Not to mention a lot of people will come to see it!

Oooh, Willy Wonka would be fun, too!
We're having our theatre redone, and it'll be done just in time for ours to be the first big production on the brand new stage! But Wonka would be fun for that too ... we have some very artistic techies!
