Okie dokie, so Spazel and I will be doing an RP to be found here of course. Hope you enjoy reading it. ^^ Characters and such, you will find out as we go along. ~~~~~~ Adrian hurried around his small home, preparing it for the storm that brewed just outside. Mostly it was a matter of locking the windows and making sure they wouldn’t let any water in. He also stowed away anything loose in the nearest drawer. Normally he was very organized, but for now he just wanted to make sure none of his papers or belongings got away. The power had already gone out and he shuffled about in the dark, by memory. His flashlight rested on the sofa in the living room at the center of the house. A flash of lightning and the following crash of thunder introduced a sudden pounding of rain on the roof. Adrian glanced out the last window in the kitchen. The close-knit trees of his forest land whipped violently in the wind. He frowned. He’d probably have to fix the roof when the storm passed. Dammit. After making one last round through the house, Adrian padded into the living room and flopped onto the couch. He’d wait out the storm here, like he did every time bad weather struck. He had a couple pieces of toast on a plate on the side table, so far untouched. But, before he could really work up any appetite, the drumming of the rain above him made him doze off to sleep.

Spazel just barely dodged a rain drop the size of his head but still kept on running for his life. He was crying now that he wasn't able to find food for 2 days straight and that he had a chance of drowning. Spazel kept desperately looking for shelter to hide out until the rain had stopped.
During Spazel's run he had cut his foot and body but kept going hoping he'd find something eventually. Suddenly as Spazel thought all hope was gone he came across a House...A BIG house! Spazel knew that it belongs to a human and that a Liten like him would be quite unsafe in the presence of those gargantuan monsters... but what choice did he have.
As Spazel ran towards the house he saw an opening and began to crawl through it hoping that he would not be spotted on the other side. Still crying over his bleeding feet he was careful not to make much noise or risk his life. Once inside Spazel looked around to see if anyone was there, and although he saw nothing he definitely heard something. Spazel closed his eyes and listened closely...
"Is...That..Snoring?"
Spazel ran towards the source of the snoring but when he saw nothing he scratched his head wondering where it was coming from. Suddenly Spazel realized and looked up to see the titan sleeping in his chair soundly and happy. Spazel began to get angry at the sight of him knowing that he can sit down and live it up but Spazel has to hunt to survive. Spazel suddenly smelled something. It smelled so delicious and when Spazel looked up he saw it... well not it but the steam lines of a meal. Spazel ran up to the table leg and began to climb up since his race were good climbers. When arriving on the top of the table he looked at the huge meal in front of him but kept focus and took the sight in slowly. Spazel ran towards it and began to take small pieces to hold onto for later consumption and placed them in his pocket.
When Spazel realized he had enough he took a specific piece for at the moment consumption and began to depart from on top the table. Spazel began to crawl back down the table and looked for a way out. On the other side of the chair Spazel saw the perfect opening and began to head for it. Once inside Spazel finally was able to enjoy the taste of well earned meal.

((It's fine ... sorry I took so long to reply; stuff happened and before I knew it 3 days went by ... ^^; )) ~~~~~
Adrian awoke less than gracefully. With a cough and a groan, he jerked up to a sitting position on the couch. He stretched slowly, his arms above his head as his back arced. After hearing that satisfying pop! of his spine, he settled again, stifling a yawn. He blinked sleepily and pushed his hair back. Then, not even glancing at his plate at first, he trotted out of the room.
He checked the rooms of his small house for any damage. Only the back room seemed to have suffered at all, and even that was only a slight leak at the window, easily fixed. He opened the front door to survey his small yard and the forest beyond it. Lots of branches and twigs had been downed in the wind. Huge puddles waterlogged the grass. "Hmm. Great," he muttered, thinking about the work he'd have to put in saving the vegetable garden. Hopefully the plants were sturdy enough to have withstood the wind. He closed the door and headed back to the living room.
He picked up the plate of the now-cooled toast and was about to cart it back to the kitchen for later, when he froze. Narrowing his eyes at the bread, he noticed something. It looked like there was a chunk missing out of the side of one piece of toast. In fact, it looked suspiciously like something had nibbled a good amount off ... good for a mouse or rodent or something that size.
He groaned and rolled his eyes, setting the plate down again. "Great. Mice. Again." he complained in his quiet but cynical voice. He got on hands and knees to examine the floor for any more evidence. A few small crumbs on the floor confused him slightly. Had the mice carried the bread away, or something? He followed the sparse trail they seemed to make; in truth, only a few crumbs were on the floor. But Adrian was very in tune when something was different in his house. And he knew he didn't leave those crumbs there.
He shuffled over to the opening in the wall and scowled at it. Then, he got up and set a plan into action. He broke off another sizable chunk of toast and dropped it to the floor near the wall. Then, he walked back into the kitchen to drop off the plate and retrieve a flyswat. It would be enough to daze a critter long enough for him to toss it back outside without hurting it. He tiptoed back to the living room and settled onto the couch, peering over its side at the opening and the little bait he'd left near it. He had nothing better to do but wait, and he definitely had the patience for that.

((Yay)) "Uh-Oh"... Spazel was now feeling very scared from the sudden thumping from outside the hole. To him it seemed like a mini earthquake that never stopped which could only mean one thing... the Giant woke up. Although, he was scared out of his mind Spazel still felt happy that he had food to last him over 2 weeks.
Suddenly Spazel heard and felt nothing from outside the hole which made him a bit calmer. He suddenly thought back to what his parents told him before they were killed by giants "Always stay vigilant on your own or you'll end up dead." Spazel suddenly looked down and got a sad look in his face "...Then why did you both die..."
When Spazel lifted up his head he was surprised to see what he saw outside the door, a piece of bread... just laying there. Spazel ran towards the entrance of the hole to look at it closely and examine it. Being quite young and naive to the world around him Spazel began to slowly walk out of the hole with both hands out like a child reaching for his mother. Spazel knew that with this he would have 1 months worth of food.

((Hi, I'm so sorry to take so long ... it's a bit difficult nowadays but I'm doing my best. Hope you're still interested.)) ~~~~~ Adrian saw motion in the hole in the wall, and tensed his arm holding the flyswat, ready for anything. Well, anything but what came out. He barely moved the flyswat an inch before pulling back, freezing where he sat. A little person? Of all things that could be invading his house, it was little people. His mouth hung slightly agape at the sight of it ... him. His tiny eyes focused forward, unaware of him, his tiny hands outstretched toward the seemingly abandoned food. Adrian could hardly believe it.
He shook his head. Now was no time to gawk. He had to figure out what to do before the little guy disappeared back into the wall. He swiftly brought the flyswat down, but not at the person. No, instead he used the flat, criss-crossed plastic end to cover up the hole in the wall and block the little one's exit. Then, sure he'd already caught his attention, Adrian announced himself. "Well, what d'you think you're doing here, little guy?"

((Neon Im just happy to see your ok :3)) ~~~~~~~ Spazel just stood still too scared to even look up at the gargantuan creature that stood in front of him at the moment. Spazel was now beating himself up on the inside for forgetting the Liten's most important rule of hunting for food..."looking both ways." Spazel who hands were still in the direction of the food put them down and force himself to finally look up only to realize it was a great mistake.
Spazel was now completely frozen from the sheer size of his face looking down at him.
Spazel who although heard the question asked by the giant was too scared to say a word and began losing his sanity. Spazel quickly reached his hand out and grabbed pieces of the already small piece of food on the ground and began to throwing it up at the gargantuan humans face. Spazel hoping that would keep him busy long enough began running towards the bottom of the sofa that the human was sitting on earlier.

Adrian watched the little creature's reactions carefully. The brief closer look told him that he was indeed some sort of person ... tiny or not. He started to lean in very slightly for a better look but stopped when the little guy looked up. He looked beyond surprised, beyond scared. Adrian couldn't really blame him ... he'd be startled too.
Then it started throwing crumbs at him. Adrian leaned back in surprise at the bold action. He almost laughed, surpressing it but not without a very amused look on his face. He wasn't distracted for long, though. Noticing the little person's mad dash for the sofa, he sprang to action himself. Abandoning the flyswat, he practically threw himself into a backwards pounce. He barely did it in time to land on his stomach, his hands thrown out over the little person, his arms forming the rest of the barricade. He sighed slightly after corraling him in.

Spazel only reaction was a yelp from the pouncing position of the gargantuan monster behind him. He knew that it was now or never so if he failed to reach the sofa he would be stuck at the mercy of the beast. Yuiep noticed that the giant finally pounced and with that a few tears of insanity came from Spazel's eyes as he lusted for even the slightest speed boost. Suddenly, an earthquake of seismic proportion occurred knocking Spazel off of his feet.
Frantically Spazel looked around at his new prison... the hands of the Giant. Spazel took it in for a moment pretending that it wasn’t real but soon enough he was sweating bullets and finally he began to cry.

Adrian winced slightly when the little person fell down. He worried for a moment that he'd hurt him. After a few seconds, he was sure that he was unhurt, but literally shaken. He stared in awe at him. He'd never seen or heard of any sort of creature, and couldn't be sure if he was real. He looked very nervous, real or not.
Adrian raised his eyebrows when, suddenly, the little guy started crying. Utterly taken aback, Adrian stared blankly for several more seconds. He fidgeted for a moment, finally moving his hands away from the little person slightly. He still blocked his path, but didn't crowd him as much. "Okay, um ..." he began, really unsure. "What are you doing here?" he finally asked.

Spazel coward in fear as he noticed the two gargantuan hand moves away from him. He finally had the opportunity to see the giant that caught him but that didn’t quite help his predicament that much. The giant began to talk causing Spazel to back up a little even though all it was, was a simple "what are you doing here?"
He had no idea what to say since he was sure the giant would probably get rid of him anyway.
Spazel placed his hand on his opposite shoulder and looked everywhere but at the giant’s face. Since Spazel knew that the giant would probably become impatient he finally began to answer in a meager voice that he was sure the giant would probably barely hear.
"I...I was trying to escape... the rain...I'm sorry for bothering you but... I don’t like the rain."
As Spazel said the last line he finally went into a crouching position with his arms over his head.
"I'm so sorry... please don’t kill me."

Adrian didn't really like how this was going. He didn't really mean to be all that intimidating. He understood for the most part why the little guy was so freaked out. And he knew he wasn't the nicest guy to get cornered with. But he wasn't that mean, was he? The little person looked around nervously and Adrian sighed lightly.
He almost answered the first explanation. It was a simple enough answer. Considering the rain was probably some great flood to people like this guy, he knew exactly why he'd come into the house without permission. That was forgivable enough.
He winced when the little person crouched and begged him not to kill him. With a frown, Adrian thought for a minute. If anyone was bad at situations like this, it was Adrian. He wasn't sure how to go about comforting this person, especially when all of his efforts so far to be kind had failed. Finally, he simply pulled his arms back to himself, leaning on one elbow and looking thoughtfully at the now-untrapped little person. "Okay. I won't kill you." he answered matter-of-factly. "Didn't really want to do that anyway."

Spazel watched as the giants hands began to move away unblocking the path to the hole in the wall. Spazel looked up at the giant’s face that was now looking down at him with a face that didn’t resemble the face of any other giant he saw. Spazel’s stomach was aching telling him to run for the hole but he was too absorbed by the giant’s action to move. When Spazel finally got out of his thinking he began to stand but still stared at the giant with confused and childish eyes.
“Ommmmm… but if you’re not going to kill me what… are you going to do to me?”
Spazel knew that everything in life had a price that had to paid, be it in tears or pain… he quickly rubbed his still bleeding leg as he thought about this. For a ten year old Liten he knew that a lonely life is hard and that every decision had a consequence.

Adrian frowned slightly, thinking. This poor little guy seemed to have been through a lot. He could only imagine what had caused this attitude on life. It was kind of depressing. With a sigh, he shook his head wearily. "I'm not going to do anything to you," he finally answered resignedly. This day was getting all to tense.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Adrian set his hand palm-up near the little person. "Come on. You need to get your injury cleaned up. I don't think I have a bandaid that would work for you though ..."

Spazel felt surprised at the answer the giant gave to his question. He was barely able to believe that a giant would just allow him to be here and do nothing. He wanted to smile but he was still in pain from the cut on his legs. When the giants hand suddenly came in front of him face up Spazel looked up at the giant with child like frightened eyes. He was not ready to trust a giant that he just met but the cut was definitely hurting a lot.
Spazel slowly came forward and looked into the giants eyes again for any signs of maliciousness, he saw none. He slowly began to place his first foot on his hand which felt a bit rubbery. The feeling surged through his spine giving him a weird feeling of insecurity as he finally got on. He walked to the center and sat down only staring down with a feeling of being surrounded by the enemy but he might as well accept what’s coming.
"Thank....you... Mr. Giant"
