Well basically... I was bored. Very, very bored.
Sitting here, waiting for my sister to get home from work so we can puzzle out the rest of the spiffy new test chambers in Portal 2. (Valve is my new best friend) :\/

Now she stood wedged between hard oak and a dusty encyclopedia, holding what might possibly be the last breath she would ever take, as the hulking mass of the human school teacher (a not unattractive man of about thirty five years, clocking in at what must have been at least six feet tall) searched the various nooks and crannies of his small but well furnished apartment. Looking, no doubt, for the singular specimen he’d collected just that morning.
Had she been in a position to, she would have scoffed. Yes, her life was rather like a novel wasn’t it? Not a top seller, she’d admit. But the proceedings of the last few weeks did have the mark of the unreal about them. Or perhaps it was just the adrenalin and lack of air that was blurring the edges of the events that lead her here. The political intrigue, the childish dare, the vicious betrayal and terrifying race for her life that had culminated in her current dilemma...
