Keelan: *lunges from the chair and grabs blackcat* That is it! I'll kill you! No you won't Kee. Keelan: I won't? Ask kindly and maybe the nickname will be used less often. Hm... That is why I dropped the nicknames for Gill and Arrow. Keelan: Gill is a nickname. Shall I call you Keylime instead? Keelan: ........ *turns to giantblackcat and sighs* You can call me Kee, but please not that. v____v Hehe! Ok! And you call me Yoyo!!

Keelan sure is popular! Kee: Stuff it Amy. Ok. *sadness* And this rewrite does not seem to be going as smooth as I would have hoped. I made Catra too manly in the beginning and quickly fixed that without knowing and without explination, made the beginning action too thick, made myself hysterical and moody, and Keelan.... no I didn't mess him up too badly. Dx And I'm dropping the nicknames for Arrow and Gillien. Gill is a nickname and Arrow isn't his real name. DUN DUN DUUUUUN OH LOOK PLOT! Might still use Kool-aid....or Keylime. xD And of couse Marshmallow-head is staying, but Catra's real name will be said too. As will -snort- Lord Keelan? Keelan: *wants to cry at the constint teasing but has too much pride*

I shall! Dx Keylime doesn't have enough punch as I thought. Now that I look at it.
I wanna rewrite the rewrite now. Gosh I hate this story. Dx And yet... I continue it.
Arrow: I would think that it is because your old, loosly detailed yet humorous old style and your new detailed, plot thick, almost mature new style clash too much. It frustrates you. *flashes the thread a dazzeling Arrow-smile*
Keelan: *looks up from his emo spot* Agreed.

When I saw the mounts Keelan had been talking about, I paled. They looked like a mix of grounded, wingless dragons that had bred with horses. One tossed it's horse-like head and bayed in the loudest voice I had ever heard. Both had white eyes and red scales. Keelan took the larger of the two, jumping on its brown leather saddle in a smooth motion. He pulled on the reins, which were tied to the beast's forward sloping horns, and brought the monster to attention.
"Good thing I brought two Drakos. Well? Get on," he stated bluntly. Catra patted the thing's fine scales tenderly, but made no move for the saddle.
"I want to walk," Catra smiled. The look Keelan returned to him could melt through any steel wall easily. I felt a shiver run through my body. The Drakos before him shook out its black mane nervously. Its tail, also black fine hair, swatted a bug away. Catra sighed and flopped into the saddle with minor difficulty. He pulled the reins and gave a light tap to the beast's sides.
Pawing the ground with a clawed paw, the mount broke into a brisk trot. Keelan followed closely.
"I'm sorry," Catra apologized looking down at me. I grasped onto the inside of his pocket to soothe the jolt of the bouncing motion the gait of the Drakos had caused.
"And you should be," Keelan snorted thinking Catra was talking to him, "You went back there, didn't you?"
"To Earth, yes," Catra coldly replied, "I like it better than here." Keelan didn't say anything in response.
"As long as you didn't bring anything back," he muttered before pulling ahead. Looking out of my peep-hole, I saw rows on houses with wooden doors and red brick. It was like one of the towns from the children fairy tales. The trail that the giants rode on looked old and rarely used. I looked up and gasped.
A large castle loomed not too far in the distance. White flags with a maroon border flew from all four spires. There was a stationary bridge and flashes of silver from the armor of the guards. White stone made the outside walls of the magnificent place.
"There it is," Catra groaned, "Home." He lived there!?
"Lord Catra," Keelan said with a sudden burst of respect as he took Catra's pace, "I need to speak with you on a matter that has been brought to my attention. Aireous has just announced that it's prince is missing, and we at Pyrouge cannot ignore that. What will you have us...." He was silenced with a wave of Catra's hand.
"We will discuss this later. I am tired. I just want lunch and a nap, if you don't mind," he said cheerfully to his retainer. Keelan gave a stiff nod to his lord. We pulled up to the silver gates. The guards snapped to attention as we rode past. Catra dismounted in the courtyard and lead his mount by the reins back to the stable. The smell made me gag, but I bit my tongue to keep anymore noise from escaping me. I saw Keelan's eyes glance at my lightly bulging hiding spot before choosing that to not see would be a whole lot better. I moved to the back of the pocket.
"I heard of your return!" a voice called out. Boots clicked against the stone and suddenly something hard slammed into me.
"Gillian! Get off!" Catra yelped. I felt the muscles of the giant tense and flex as he threw whatever had come into contact with him off. I peeled myself from him.
"It was a simple greeting!" the newcomer stated, "What is wrong?"
"I knew it!" Keelan snarled grabbing the shirt I was trapped in. Catra struggled against Keelan, but lost. Four huge fingers, with very clean nails I might add, were thrust into the pocket tearing it from the shirt. They latched onto my sides and dragged me out in a strong, vice-like grip that could crush cars like coke cans.
"I knew you were acting odd. You would never.... apologize... that... oh gods," Keelan gasped covering his mouth with his free hand like he was going to be sick. The color drained from his face.
"What is that!?" the newcomer, Gillian, breathed. His soft gray eyes were sparkling with curosity and wonder. The large scar on his left cheek made me cringe. He ran a hand through his long thick black hair.
"Something that shouldn't be here," Keelan almost whispered, "It's a human."

Keelan: If I were to let her go, she would fall........ and die. Better yet, before the nickname sets in, I'll let her....
You do and I WILL haunt you.
Keelan: ............nevermind.
