Neon, thank you so much! I try to make each of my characters interesting and entertaining and the relationships between each character clear and unmuddled. If one character does not care for the other, I try to make that clear.
But I fail more than I suceed. xD In my opinion. I'm sorry Fang that Aradil is kinda all over the place!

A different tea set had been placed on the airplane runway sized table along with wine glasses filled with shining ruby liquid. Plates the size of houses lined four of the seats. The silver seemed to glow int he candlelight. Red flowers decorated the center of the spread, standing tall in the purest white porcelain vase. The smell of fresh bread and smoked meat attacked my senses. Gill took a seat on one side of the table and reached gently for me.
"You might want to let go of my hair now," he chuckled. I allowed myself to be pulled free and set upon the table. Arrow handed me a human sized coffee mug from in between his pointer and thumb. I took it and gasped.
"How?" I asked gazing up at him. He shrugged.
"Some human sized cups and other things were in the spice cabinet behind the spices. I don't know why or how they got there," Arrow admitted letting a few drops if red wine fall into the glass until it was full. I stared at it.
"I'm a minor!" I whined. Arrow gave me a puzzled look as he sat near Gill.
"A what?" he asked.
"Minor. Like a child under the age of 10. One who cannot drink, moron," Keelan bluntly stated taking his place near Catra. I saw that nobody sat at the head of the table. Wait... 10?
"How old are you?" Catra asked tilting his head to one side. One of Keelan's eyebrows shot up.
"You don't ask a woman that!" Arrow scolded Catra who blushed bright pink. He must have forgotten manners.
"It's fine. I'm 19," I sighed, sitting with my cup. Everyone was staring at me now.
"So you can drink?" Arrow said.
"No."
"But once you are 11, it is no longer illegal, just a tad bit immoral."
"Not where I'm from." Keelan cleared his throat stopping the budding argument.
"She can choose," Gill said quietly, winking in my direction. I looked at the wine and sipped at it. It was unlike any wine I had. It burned the back of my throat, like wine does, but it had a clear taste to it. It tasted of cinnamon and fresh grapes.
"Shall we eat?" Catra chirped reaching for a plate of what looked like boiled vegetables. Keelan took some of the smoked meat and passed the plate over me to Arrow. Arrow smacked the retreating hand hard.
"Amy is there you oaf!" he growled at Keelan, who was busy rubbing his hand.
"Didn't see her," Keelan grunted. He gave me an apologetic gaze before returning to his meal. I was sitting the the shadow of a basket full of bread, and it smelled amazing. I stared up at it for a few moments before Gill broke my train of thought.
"Choose a plate and take what you want. We are all willing to share. Right?" He glared at Keelan who stiffly nodded, his mouth full. Gill leaned down to whisper something to me.
"I'd go to his plate." Did he seriously mean Keelan? I stood, clutching my cup, and walked to where Keelan was eating. Keelan attempted to stare me down, to force me to turn to Catra, but I didn't. He sighed and swallowed hard.
"All right. Just this one time," he grunted rolling his blue eyes. He broke off some of the bread he was eating and dipped it into the bowl by this plate. I didn't see it due to the bread basket being in my way. He handed me the bread piece, which was as long as one of my arms, and turned back to the bowl. It was a pale orange colored sticky soup with what looked like vegetables in it. I nibbled on the bread to taste a sharp cheese. Cheese and vegetable soup, like what I loved back home! A few silent tears ran down my cheeks as I ate faster. Keelan's napkin was suddenly in my face, dabbing my cheeks.
"None of that now," he sternly said, "Or Arrow will have my hide for allowing your tears to ruin the taste of his cooking." Worry glimmered in his eyes, though he was trying to be sarcastic. I nodded and reached for some of the meat on his plate, trying not to get dirty again. Keelan's fork, full of meat, hovered above me.
"Take it. Seeing you on my plate disturbs me slightly," he sighed. I grabbed a slab of the meat and tugged it off the fork with minor difficulty.
"It isn't like you are going to eat her," Gill said putting his silver down, "So why are you disturbed?"
"With her on my plate it seems as if I am going to eat her," Keelan retorted. I nibbled the meat. Something like rosemary hinted itself through the juice. I looked up and watched Keelan stuff the rest of the meat in his mouth and chew. His powerful jaws grinding the flesh sent a shiver down my spine.
"She's shaking," Gill sighed.
"Is it the ralu meat?" Arrow asked. I later learned that a ralu was a rabbit-like creature with tender, juicy meat. I looked away from Keelan, who was staring at me now too.
"It's us," Catra stated,"Imagine if you were her size and to see these... giants ripping into meat like it was nothing. Scary isn't it? That is why I dropped meat from my diet after my first trip to their land." Everyone blankly nodded.
"I'm going back to my soup diet after that image," Keelan groaned. I noticed most of them had gone pale.
"It's ok, I'm fine! I trus..WHOA!" Catra had lifted me up and held me close. I gasped. My wine had spilled all over his robe. He looked at it, then to me. I blushed in shame. Keelan opened his mouth as if to say something, but Catra interrupted.
"I was off to change anyways!" He whisked me off the table and took me with him. He held me close as he retreated swiftly to his room.

It wasn't long before we were in his room. His room was huge, nothing less than a prince. The sheets of his bed were a wine red color as were his elegant draping curtains. The floor was covered in rugs with red, orange, and gold Arabic-looking designs. His walls were painted an off white color with swirling green vines and red roses. What looked like a washroom entrance was along the same wall as the large closet. He set me with a light 'thump' down on his bed.
"I'm sorry for saying what I did," Catra apologized moving to rummage through his closet, "I hope I didn't make you more frightened of us... giants." He said to word 'giant' with sorrow thick in his voice. Closing the door partially, Catra undressed. I turned around to stare at the intricately painted walls.
"You know marshmallow-head, I never really minded you being a giant. It is what you are," I said twiddling my thumbs.
"Are you still calling me that?" Catra sighed, his breath on my back. I squeaked and twisted around to see him laying on the vast bed. He swapped his robe for crimson silk nightclothes. He was staring at me, his green eyes scanning every inch of me as if looking for something wrong.
"Yeah. So?" I snorted. He smiled.
"You remind me of Keelan, before I rejected my title," he whispered gently ruffling my short thick hair.
How do I remind you of that doofus Kool-aid?" I retorted pushing his finger away.
"That!" laughed Catra, attacking me from both sides with two fingers. I tried to fight off the tickling, but failed. I was at his mercy. When he finally let up, I was panting with my efforts and the corners of my eyes were damp.
"Oh! Before I forget, Arrow offered to wash your cloths. But a strange silver thing fell out," Catra exclaimed.
"My iPod! Is it broken?" I lamented. Catra shook his head. Arrow caught it and is holding it safe in his apron. I hadn't noticed that Arrow had changed out of his robe and into his cook's uniform. I sighed with relief. It was alive.
Catra leaned over me and blew out the closest candles. The room went dark immediately as he pushed himself off the bed and puffed out the remaining light. I felt him flop back onto the soft mattress beside me.
"Amy?" he inquired, his hand snaking around for me. I was found shortly, his fingers inching around me. He lifted me, not very pleasant when you cannot see, and placed me on his pillow. I saw his faintly shining jade eyes close in sleep. He sighed and his breathing began to slow down.
I got comfortable, moving to lay on me back to stare at the impossibly high ceiling. With a loud creak, the door opened. I heard the clicking of heels on the rug. A immense shadow loomed above me. Faster than I expected, whatever it was snatched me and swiftly retreated from the room.
"Do not scream please," the giant thundered, his hand giving me a tight warning squeeze. I decided clamping my mouth shut would prolong my life. I couldn't see until we stopped. He opened his hand and I saw the biggest library I have ever seen. The smell of old books and the giant's cologne mixed well. I turned to see who it had been and gasped. Golden green eyes were staring at me, like a cat with a prize.
"Sullyman!" I yelped.
"Hello little girl. It is nice to finally meet you," he chuckled taking a seat in a large brown leather chair, "Please don't look at me like that. I won't hurt you. I promise." He offered me a gentle smile. I backed up to the edge of his hand and onto a table. As soon as I had scrambled off, he retracted his large hand.
"H-how do I know y-you won't?" I demanded. He thrust his pinky before me, a move for young children when they make promises.
"Will this do?" he asked, waiting for me to accept, "I just want to know who you are and why you are here. Surely Catra has enough humanity to not keep you here like a pet." The giant snarled at the word 'pet'. I tapped his pinky with my own.
"I'm Amy, and I a-asked to come." His feature gained a puzzled look. "I was a-also told not to trust you."
He sighed and rubbed his temples with both hands.
"I have personal reasons for acting the way I do," he sighed, "I hate Lady Seraphina. But I hold no love for Catra either." His eyes seemed lost, almost sad. He jerked his head up suddenly. The doorknob was turning to one of the double doors.
"Until another time. Tell nobody of us meeting," Sullyman hissed with a dip of his head. He opened a small camouflaged door between two of the massive bookcases and slipped away. It seemed that he knew of humans, but how? He looked so serious about everything he said too. A shiver went down my spine. The door was open and a shadow fell across me. I looked up to a very angry, yet confused, face looking down.
"What are you doing here?" Keelan demanded taking Sullyman's seat to look me in the face. He seemed more grumpy than before to my disappointment.
"Well Amy?"
