Chapter 4
Discovered?
When he finally arrived at his house Taren realized he had not properly introduced himself to her. He wondered how old was she? What was her name? And what the heck was she doing in the middle of a giants market? He sighed reaching into his pocket, when he felt her, he grabbed the back of her dress, and gently lifted her out of his pocket.
She was still sleeping.
He walked over to his bed and placed her gently on his pillow. He sighed, she did look rather cute when she was sleeping. He didn't really notice what she had looked like until now. She had long brown, slightly wavy hair. And she wore an aqua colored dress. Her lips were a bright rose-pink, and she was rather pale. Taren sighed, his roommate- Jayden- would not be happy about this. Jayden hated humans. Taren knew he wouldn't hurt her, but for some reason Jayden had a deep hate of humans. Taren's stomach growled. He forgot why he had gone to the market in the first place- to buy food. He glanced one more time over his shoulder-she was fast asleep. He took off his shirt, and folded it on his bed. Boy, it was hot out today. Surly she wouldn't wake if he was gone for five minutes.
Walking into the kitchen Taren saw the door open.
Jayden was home.
Taren hadn't planned on how to tell Jay that he had brought home a human.
"I'm going to bed," Jayden grumbled. They shared the same room. Jayden would spot the human on Taren's bed. Taren froze. What would Jayden do if he spotted her?
"H-hey what's the rush? I could make you something to eat? Why go to bed now, you know it’s pretty early," Taren studdered quickly blocking Jayden's path to the stairs.
“Move Taren, I'm not in the mood," Jayden grumbled.
Unsure what to do Taren suddenly bolted up the steps, ran into his room and locked the door. She was still sleeping. He sighed, where would he hide her?
Suddenly there was a banging on the door," I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR UP TO TAREN BUT I'M GONNA FIND OUT!"
"Where should I hide you?" he quickly mumbled to himself.
"OPEN THE DOOR TAREN!" Jayden boomed. Taren quickly grabbed the girl in his fist. She yelped.
"SHHHH!" he said holding his finger up to his face.
Suddenly the door knob began to turn, Jayden had gotten the key and he was coming in.

Chapter 5
Trust
"Don’t say anything, I'm not gonna hurt you-" Taren said quickly. Alina meeped, suddenly everything was dark. And wet.
The door opened.
"What’s going on?" Jayden asked angrily.
Taren shrugged.
"I know your hiding something," Jayden continued.
Taren just shook his head no. It was then Alina realized where he was hiding her. In his mouth. Just as a reaction she screamed at the top of her lungs. Jayden's eyes widened.
"You didn't," he glared.
"Spit it out."
Taren spit out Alina on his hand. "Sorry," he mumbled,” Couldn’t think of another place."
Alina began to cough, "EWWW!" she yelled.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" she yelled in disgust.
Taren didn’t answer. Why was he ignoring her.?Then she realized he was looking at something else. Turning around she saw a giant, this one even taller, and he did not look nice.
"YOU BROUGHT HOME A HUMAN!" he yelled. Alina yelped and curled in a ball, she certainly did not like this giant.
N-n-no wait Jay, let me explain," Taren studdered.
"You can't explain what you did. You know how much trouble they bring!" Jayden yelled.
"But she would've died!" Taren pleaded.
"I don't care, don't bring it here. Get it out now!" Jayden yelled in frustration.
"No, Jayden," Taren replied calmly.
Jayden sighed, Taren was stubborn, and he would not change his mind. Jayden turned around and slammed the door, disappearing from the room.
Then Taren focused on Alina. She was in a ball curled up on his hand, and she was crying.
"It’s okay, he's gone," Taren whispered. “And I'm really sorry, I-I just didn't know where else to hide you." Taren sighed.
The human ignored him and gave him a horrid glare.
You know let’s get you cleaned up," Taren replied. Walking into the bathroom, Taren turned on the sink, closed the drain and let it fill up slightly. Then he turned his hand sideways, and Alina rolled off his hand. Then he placed a bar of soap next to the sink.
"You can clean yourself. I won't look, I'll face the wall. But I think its best I stay in here with Jayden around," he sighed.
Taren turned around. Alina froze, did he really expect her to just undress right there. Even if he wasn't facing her she was still uncomfortable. It it hadn't been for the fact that she was covered in drool, she would have never undress. Alina slide into the water.
As he stood there Taren tried to make conversation," So what’s your name?"
"My name?" Alina asked. Why did he care what her name was? "Well what’s your name?"
"Taren."
"Alina," she muttered.
"What?" he asked.
"I said the names Alina," she replied.
Unsure what to say Taren replied, “Look, I'm really sorry about before, and I'll try to get you home as soon as possible."
"Thanks," Alina muttered.
"What?" Taren asked.
"Nothing."
It was quiet until Alina got out.
"Uhh Taren," she called.
"What?" he asked.
"There’s no clothes," she muttered.
"Oh right, clothes would help, " he laughed. Taren walked over to a small draw and pulled out some clothes. Without looking he reached his hand back until she had grabbed them.
“Done,"she meeped. Taren turned around.
They were fairly big on her, but then again they were his at his "human size" form.
He put his hand in front of her expecting her to walk on. Instead she just stood there. He sighed,” If you want to get anywhere you have to trust me.”
Alina bit her lip and thought for a moment. He had saved her, and he did say he would promise to return her to safety as soon as possible.
“I trust you,” she replied walking onto his hand.

I think I like the Trust Chapter as my favorite so far!! a lot of great interaction scenes. I like the names of the characters especially Alina's name, I think it is sounds pretty. I can hardly wait to see Alina's reaction seeing her Dad as a giant. Yahoo!! I can hardly wait for the next update!! Keep up the good work!!!! :>

Chapter 6 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Unknown things As he raised his hand up Alina let out a small yelp, and then clutched onto his thumb. "It’s okay," Taren said," I won't let you fall." "Okay," Alina mumbled. They stared at each other for a minute before Taren's stomach growled. He rubbed his hand on the back of his neck feeling embarrassed. " Sorry," he sighed," Hey you must be hungry too. Want something to eat?" Alina just looked down. "Oh I see, You’re afraid of my roommate eh?" Taren asked. Alina only nodded her head yes. "Aww Its okay he won’t hurt you." Making his way to the kitchen Taren realized Jayden wasn't in the house. He must've stormed out of in rage. "Guess he left," Taren mumbled. "That solves that problem," he smiled trying to cheer her up. He placed his hand on the table and she slowly stood and walked off, then sat down on the table. "So what do you want to eat?" he asked cheerfully. "Doesn't matter to me as long as it’s not nasty," Alina replied. "Ok then, " Taren said opening the cupboard and scanning what was on the inside. "It'll be a surprise then," Taren said then with a wink," And I'm a pretty good cook if I do say so myself." Taking out a pot, Taren placed in on the counter. Then he put a large piece of meat in the pot. Alina did not know where he would find an animal that large, but then again she was in giant territory. She whinced at the thought of an animal that large. It would surly kill her. "I'll be right back," Taren chirped and then burst out the door. If it had not been for the height of the table Alina probably would've attempted to leave. She sighed and waited. Taren returned moments later with the pot now filled with water. Then with one hand under the pot, it began to boil. Alina's eyes watched with amazement. She realized then that he had the ability to control fire. "So you control fire?" She asked. "Sure do," he replied. "And what about your friend?" Alina asked. She would fear him even more if he could control fire. She shivered. "Oh Jay? Naw, he doesn't have any powers." Taren replied. Before Alina had a chance to ask why, Taren continued," Oh yea you mentioned earlier when I found you. Something about that you had powers?" Alina smiled," Sure do, and I could outrun you any day at human size." Taren smirked," You really think I'm pretty fast myself. But I thought you meant real powers." Alina mumbled," I do have real powers." "Hmm what was that?" Taren asked. "Why doesn't Jayden have powers?" Alina asked. "Cause he’s only half giant," Taren replied. Alina's eyes widened. How could he possibly be the same as her? Unable to control herself Alina burst out, "So am I!" But Taren was busy cooking, and didn't hear. "What Alina? Didn't catch that," Taren asked. Alina thought for a moment, maybe it was better if she didn't tell him, and if she didn't tell him she had real powers. Just in case she needed to escape, they wouldn't be prepared. "Uhh nothing," Alina replied. Alina watched as Taren put a number of spices into the water, and had created a strange sauce. "Done," he smiled. Taking out two large plates, Taren put half the meat on one and half on the other. Although the food smelled good, and probably was, Alina could never eat that much. "Uhh Taren," Alina called," That's too much." "Well that’s cause it’s not for you," He replied," It’s for Jayden." Alina turned around to find Jayden standing over her. She froze.

Chapter 7
Dinner with the enemy
Alina screamed, and ran towards the other side of the table, before suddenly smashing into something and falling on her butt. Jayden had placed his hand in the way of her path.
"Ow," Alina said rubbing her butt.
"Aww Jay quit it, leave her alone," Taren said placing the two plates on the table. Jayden just laughed at her as he sat down in his chair and began to eat. Alina sat there in the middle of the table, her face really hurt too. She had been running full force when she hit his hand. Taren placed his plate on the table, and looked at Alina. The sad look on her face broke his heart.
"It’s okay," he said without think as he rubbed her back with his finger. She yelped and scurried a few steps away. Taren sighed, got up, opened a draw, and pulled out a human sized plate, and utensils.
"W-why do you have those?" Alina stuttered.
"Well just in case," Taren shrugged," Plus we can be your size at times too."
He used his knife to cut a small piece of meat and then placed it on Alina's plate.
"Thanks," she mumbled. Alina's movements were all small, and quick as she feared the giant on the other side of the table, Jayden, who was glaring at her.
"Oh will you quit it," Taren said to Jayden.
"I still can't believe you brought that thing here," Jayden spat back emphasizing the word thing.
"She’s not a thing, she’s a person," Taren replied.
"Yea, yea, whatever. She more trouble then she’s worth," Jayden replied rolling his eyes, and taking a mouthful of food.
"Just cause other giants hate humans doesn't mean that you have too," Taren replied.
"Whatever," Jayden grumbled.
Alina hadn't tasted her food yet; so she cut a piece with her knife, and took a bite. It was delicious It was the best thing she had ever eaten.
"This is good," she said smiling at Taren.
"Thanks Alina," he grinned.
Jayden's face froze, and he slowly looked up, “What did you say her name was?"
"Alina," Taren repeated.
"I-I have to go," Jayden said before getting up from the table, and going upstairs, slamming the door behind him.
"What was that about?" Alina asked.
"Dunno," Taren shrugged.
Upstairs, Jayden sighed in frustration. "It can't be her, it just can't be," he said to himself. She even fit the description: brown hair, green eyes, “It can't be her!" Jayden yelled. But he would soon know the answer if he could find out one thing. Was she a half giant?
